This is a destination restaurant. The kitchen is very talented, incorporating fresh local ingredients into a daily menu paired with a wide selection of well, priced local wines.

We were recommended this place by the B & B staff in Napa , and we drove towards it with high hopes. The service was exceptional , great attention to detail and the menu lived up to it. Great pairing with wines too , would highly recommending the drive towards this , and stopping here.

Recommended by the owners of the B&B we stayed at in Guerneville. Scenic drive and well worth the trip. Well prepared meals, beautiful views at sunset and our waitress was exceptional. Try the beet salad and a glass of local wine.

Great food, great service, beautiful view! We eat here every time we visit the River, five times now! Never a disappointment. My daughter in picture says it's now a family tradition. We are always here in salmon season and it is so fresh and yummy! Usually a little cool even on hot days. Look through the telescope to see the... More

It is rare that a restaurant with a view actually has a great bar, great service and gourmet food but it is all here at River's End. Enjoy the sunsets on the deck or at your table. Many of the wait staff have been there for years and are very loyal. Food is local, fresh and seasonal. The wine selection... More

My first visit was 4 years ago, cold and damp and thrilled to enter the sunroom with the warm floor heaters. Jump ahead and now my retired husband and I need a great meal after a lovely NorCal touring day. We were not disappointed. I had an Alaskan Halibut that was excellent, and my husband had the Prawn pasta. Service... More

The views from River’s End are fantastic: waves crashing on the rocks, shoreline, ocean, etc. And the dining areas are situated to take best advantage of these views. A great place for an anniversary, other special occasions, or a date. The service and food match the location. Our server, Rick, was very helpful, very sociable and efficient. The menu, while... So you come to a place perched on the cliff overlooking the mouth of the Russian River with the ocean in the background. You think this is going to be mediocre food at a high price but well worth it for the view. Wrong! The food is so special that it competes with the view! The service was attentive. Don't... More

It really is at the end of the River: the Russian River. Incredible views overlooking the area where the Russian River empties into the Pacific. Get there earlier or get a reservation. This wonderful place fills up fast. The food is incredible, the patrons and staff are friendly and the wine selection is local. Fine dining at its best.

The restaurant is beautifully located over the delta of russian river. You can observe the seals on the sand bank on the other side of the river. Food and wine was great, service attentive and professionell. Thanks for a great evening.

The epicenter of Sonoma Coast dining...the River's End is located in the quaint village of Jenner by the Sea about 20 minutes north of Bodega Bay. The restaurant is set on a bluff overlooking the Russian River spill into the Pacific Ocean. During lunch you can watch the Osprey dive in the river for fish or the harbor seals frolic at riverside. Dinner time is all about the sunset - the show is worth the visit. Fortunately, the restaurant chefs and service staff aim to outdo the natural surroundings. The kitchen prepares California cuisine with a focus on local ingredients. Chef Martin Recoder prepares menus that are changing with the seasons and delight the heart. The service staff is led by Maitre d'/Owner Bert Rangel, who has owned and managed the restaurant for over 10 years. The Chef in the Redwood Bar is talented Patrick Keane. Trained at the French Culinary Institute, Patrick utilizes the freshest ingredients and classic techniques to create truly "Artisanal Cocktails".
