I would rate this as "good" if there were such a category. Our second story accommodation was a curious but cozy blend of old and new renovation. The small kitchen was a plus for cooking, though sparsely stocked with utensils and glasses. The view was...very special, of the shimmering river against a verdant dense green backdrop. Though warned that the TV reception would be spotty, we were never able to get a signal in the evening or the morning. Go for a relaxing experience in a nature setting but bring a book for the evenings. Their restaurant was closed because of the virus and few eateries nearby, so plan ahead.More

Cute little place in a very small town. Very scenic. Large river and many cabins are on the water. Cute log cabin style with all modern amenities. Not all rooms have TVs. Really the only place to stay in town and not much food available....One small restaurant. The inn is not serving breakfast during Covid. There is a gas station with a convenience store with a deli.More

Our stay at the Jenner Inn was like a great breath of fresh air. Away from the big city we were able to relax and not worry about the daily routine.

This is a fun, comfy place, with a large bar area next to the restaurant. Between the two of us, my husband and I had a cheeseburger and fish and chips, but the best part was the side dish of roasted Brussels sprouts. Not necessarily...gourmet dining, and fairly limited menu, but very good, accommodating, and very close to the water. If you are staying at the Inn, you can safely walk there from any of their cabins.More

Friday evening overnite at the Jenner Inn, with no need to go any further or back in the car; happy to just stroll along and take a seat this bar and restaurant. We were lucky to even have live music. Enjoyed a fantastic meal, and...good music !More

We arrived early, our hostess immediately called and made sure that our room would be ready, her bar was not open but she poured us a lovely glass of wine anyway which eased our driving exhaustion, the room was large and the view of the...bay and the estuary were perfect and we sat there watching the sun go down. It was comfortable, beautiful and a great day of driving and then watching.More

We chose the Jenner Inn based on location on the Russian River and the river views from the cottage, but realised that the coastal "fog" is often an issue here. We expected an upmarket dining experience at the Inn, but on arrival at the bar...on a Saturday evening around 5.30pm were told the local caught salmon was off the menu - so no local fish offering. I asked for a local IPA but the barrel ran out - and no one knew how to change it, so was left with Lagunitas as the only alternative. My wife ordered lasagne and expected a baked dish - instead it was sheets of partially cooked pasta layered up with Bolognese sauce and topped with grated parmesan. Even the garlic bread was disappointing. The bacon cheeseburger was good, but that was my last resort on the limited menu. Not the 4 star experience I was hoping for.More

Had two meals here and both were excellent. My wife said the salmon with their sauce were some of the best she had. I had the scampi style shrimp and noodles both times and each were excellent. They will also create customized meals if you...ask. Full bar and with the bar tab and meals reasonably priced.More

We stayed at The Jenner Inn for a short weekday getaway and were sadly disappointed. While the Jenner Inn is historic and the room was cozy and the porch was nice (although not enclosed as advertised) and the decor was modern and clean. The environment...was lacking. We didn’t realize that our cottage (Honeysuckle) was attached to another cottage. We got in late after work and hoped to sleep in. We were woken up at 6a by a baby crying for quite a while in the adjoining cottage. We could also hear their conversations and footsteps. We had cold to luke warm showers both mornings which was not relaxing on the cold California Coast. We will not return.More
