It is a real pleasure to sit outside on the grounds of Cafe Aquatica and gaze at the ocean inlet at Jenner. It is a perfectly peaceful setting. The sandwiches and espresso drinks make for decent, good food. But it is the outdoor setting that...is quite memorable, and is highly recommended.More

Most people seemed to like this cafe but our clam chowder was soupy & the clams were tough (albeit, I’m sure a much healthier version than the creamy style). The salad was good with a generous portion of avocado although a bit heavy on the...red cabbage. Liked that everything was organic. Would have liked to try breakfast here. Very pretty seaside setting.More

My husband and I enjoyed having a breakfast here each morning during our stay at Jenner. The accommodating stay make you fell welcome and the views of the Russian River make you feel that you've arrived! I especially enjoyed the food - the chowder and...smoked salmon were some of the best I've had!More

This place was bustling on a Sunday afternoon! Took awhile to get parking and food, but the outdoor area is beautiful, so waiting wasn't really that bad. They had music going and lots of seating around. The crab rolls and clam chowder were both amazing....Their chai latte however was incredibly disappointing (especially given how good the food was). Incredibly watered-down tasting and just overall lacking flavor. Ended up throwing it out.More

We loved this place!! We didn’t want a heavy lunch and they offer some interesting salads and sandwiches. Staff is very accommodating. We ordered two crab rolls for $12 each and they were delicious!! The best part was the side of pickles. Definitely put the...pickles in your sandwich, as the flavor makes all the difference. Highly recommend this place!More

Well - the answer is all of the above! The little cafe on the side of highway 1 can easily be overlooked but that would be a shame. The baked goods are just delicious - we tried the chocolate and cherry scone and the chocolate...chip cookie (I think with Almond flour) - we talked about it for days - we should have bought some more to-go!! The coffee is aromatic and wonderful. Now, grab your coffee and goodies and go to the back of the cafe and just sit down. The view is beautiful, it is quiet and very relaxing. Loved this place!More

Came here for breakfast. My wife and I loved the daily specials while watching the Russian River empty into the Pacific Ocean. Beautiful and delicious!

Enjoyed live music on the river, casual but tasty local menu. Very popular with all ages including children and dogs.

Was visiting the Russian River valley with some friends and wasn't quite ready to leave for home yet, so a couple suggested this little spot on the coast. I'd been by here dozens of times, but always :rushing" to somewhere else - this time I...had no reason to pass it up! It is in a small hollow in the Highway and street parking was difficult. not sure I'd want to fight it on a pre-COVID summer afternoon! But, we found parking (separate cars) and walked about 5 minutes to the cafe. The building is small, and I thought the cafe was all of it but only about half is the cafe, the other half hosting a place where one can get beers! Maybe next time, LOL. There was a line for ordering and the side decks were already filled, although distanced as the tables are spread out. We waited a few minutes, then placed our orders for a couple of their house made bakery goodies, 2 Cranberry Pistachio Shortbread cookies. Wow, what a flavor combo - all my favorites. I also ordered an iced tea, with a vanilla shot (they had no Splenda, so I was winging it). We went to the back deck to sit and wait, and were above some shoreside tables and with a clear windbreak we had a nice view. And, we were the only ones in the corner. Eventually our names were called at the outside pick-up window. The cookies were amazing! buttery and crisp shortbread, with plentiful pistachios and dried cranberries. I almost got a second one, but my powers of portion control worked for once! This place is a nice stop on a road trip, but I wouldn't make it a destination - although we did! But, being in the area it was a nice place to make a U-turn before heading home. They do have other food items (salads, sandwiches) and coffee, so you should find something. The staff were very friendly and efficient in keeping things moving, but we just enjoyed the great view and delicious goodies while we slowed things down. A nice break indeed.More

Great outdoor seating. Food and coffee were very good. Well organized service for Covid. Prices a little high.
