The food was delicious and our server Molly was all sorts of wonderful. I don't eat meat and was happy with the vegetarian options.

I had lunch here while I waited for my room to be ready at the resort. Walked in to a restaurant with maybe 9 tables total, due to covid, and a sign that said “take a seat” but all of the available tables needed to...be bussed. So I sat down at a dirty table and waited and waited and waited and eventually someone came and cleaned the table and then eventually someone took my order. To say this restaurant is under staffed is a gross understatement. The poor servers. I ordered shrimp sliders, they were pretty good. The service was terrible but not the servers fault. They were running. The atmosphere was stressed out servers and dirty unbiased tables with a nice view. No thanks. When I read about this restaurant online, I couldn’t wait to try it. But sadly it was disappointing. The view is nice but it was way too windy to sit outside. Had room service from them the next day and it was pretty good. But again, they can’t deliver what they advertise because they are so shockingly under staffed. Maybe in normal times this place is nice. But not right now. Also, the poor servers!More

So I’m not sure if the dining room was stripped due to Covid or if it always looks like this but it looks like you’re dining in a school cafeteria - basically no ambience whatsoever, just tables on a bare floor in a room. Probably...would be less noticeable if there was a view, but alas, it was a foggy night so no relief there. Turning to food, the Caesar salad was fine (I know, my fault for ordering a Caesar but it was her birthday and that’s what she wanted), no better or worse than any other you’ve ever had. On to the mains - she had the seafood cassoulet for $29; 5 mussels, a couple of medium shrimp, a few pieces of calamari and a mountain of beans covered in breadcrumbs. Way overpriced for the dish, which for that price should have been awash in seafood. I had the steelhead trout which was the star of the evening - nice portion, cooked perfectly with cracking skin. Delicious. Was served over toasted couscous with zucchini and cippoline onions, all of which were both overcooked and under seasoned. Lastly, they have a phenomenal wine list (with phenomenal mark ups to match), which was great but, again, great wines in Denny’s ambiance is jarring. All said, for $200 for two (including tip) I expect a really good meal at a nice place and, unfortunately, this wasn’t that.More

We visited on Valentine's weekend and dined for 2 breakfasts and the prix fixe V-day dinner with wine pairing. Food was great and we were very pleased at the social distancing efforts that the restaurant had gone to in order to make everyone feel safe....Yes, the food is a little pricey, but in keeping with other excellent restaurants. Flavors are just perfect. No salt or pepper on the tables (pandemic) but they weren't needed. Just really delicious food and friendly helpful servers. Lots of staff, so there was never a wait for anything. Wine pairing with the dinner was excellent and we met several wines that we will definitely look up again. Overall, a big hit with us! Oh and one more thing: they agreed to broil my oysters, which made me very happy!More

If you see my other reviews I only write up spots that I think are notable. This spot fits that description. My friend and I decided to spend the day hiking on the coast and stopped by the restaurant afterwards. It was during the limited...outside only dining allowances due to Covid-19 restrictions. Despite the limitations we found the restaurant fully staffed and very helpful and pleasant. The layout is beautiful with great views (there are great spots with benches and one with a fire pit to watch for whales). Parking was ample even with spaces for EV charging. Overall we found our lunches to be delicious, fair priced, and an excellent staff when most of the Bay Area was on a partial shutdown. Highly recommend!!More

The food was great, a little pricey but worth it. Service was excellent! We sat outside and the heaters were on for a comfortable dining experience. Waiter had some recomendations and well worth the try.

My husband and I stopped by the Coast Kitchen to have an appetizer and a cocktail and ended up spending more than four hours enjoying absolutely everything about this restaurant and bar. The beer and wine list is excellent and the food is great too....We enjoyed meeting many interesting people while enjoying the sunset. We look forward to returning.More

Since COVID, we have been going on an adventure every weekend, because we can't travel. We usually go to the coast, Sonoma or Napa. I book ahead to make sure that the restaurant is open for patio seating. We have had excellent food and service...during this difficult time, until now. I ordered the fish soup, it was not even filled to the top of the line in the bowl, I gave it back to the hostess and asked her to have the chef fill it. She brought it back filled but, informed me that was their normal portion, mistake! When I did taste it, it was very average. My husband had the fish and chips, two little pieces of fish, for the prices they are charging you would think that they would be more generous. I read all of the reviews before we went, I am sorry to say that we would not recommend this place to anyone unless you just wanted to go for a drink and enjoy the beautiful view, but the view was not enough for us.More

We started with a glass of bubbly at sunset out on the patio overlooking the Pacific then moved inside for a meal worthy of the breathtaking coastal surroundings. We had heard that Coast Kitchen had blossomed along with the recently revitalized Timber Cove Resort and...were, in fact, treated to a wonderful dining experience. Seafood was (as it should be in this area) super fresh and perfectly prepared. There was a diverse selection of apps and mains and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The wine list features many selections from nearby wineries, enhancing the feeling of "terroir-based" dining. The experience was particularly special since we were just steps away from our comfortable room. Three cheers!More
