This is a wonderful spot to have breakfast....and probably lunch, too! I had the corned beef hash with eggs....delicious. Generous portions, as well. The hostess was delightful and the staff friendly and efficient. Would I go here again? Oh, YES!!!
The enthusiastic hostess and a shrine to the Holstein cattle breed launched our breakfast adventure on the gold rush trail. The menu is chocked full of both sweet & savory offerings. The friendly, efficient waitress delighted my southern roots when she mentioned that grits were...available as a side item. We ordered french toast and an omelette that upon arrival were perfectly cooked and seasoned. All in all, an excellent start to our day trip of this historic California region.More
Every time we come to Jamestown we eat at Woods Creek. All of the staff are so friendly and the food is delicious. My parents live in Jamestown and go there 3 times a week. They feel like they are part of the family.
This is a very casual place that is easily passed by due to its location in an unassuming and tiny strip mall on SR 108. On the recommendation of a local merchant in Jamestown, we had breakfast there. Very cute place with a black and...white spotted cow theme - loved it. Lots of cute things to look at if you need to wait - including an amazing cow bench. We were seated right away as we ate there mid week. The place was busy even then. I imagine on the weekend that there would be a wait. The service was friendly and prompt. The portions were generous and at a great value. This place only accepts cash or check but well worth it.More
We have been wanting to try this place for awhile now. Finally we were able to get a table with only a 15 minute wait.
The service was great. We were checked on frequently and the coffee and beverages were constantly filled.
The food tasted like everything...was made from scratch and tasted really good. The biscuits and gravy were close to like Grandma used to make.
My wife enjoyed her Chili verde omelette and the way it was prepared. It was the best she’s ever had.
We will be back and probably won’t mind waiting.
Bring cash. They don’t accept any other form of payment.More
