Fantastic!! Tamales are amazing! Rice and beans are amazing! Best re-fried beans I've ever had, and that's saying something.

My first visit to Casa Gamino was also the first time I went to California in 1998. I was looking for a good Mexican restaurant within walking distance from where I was staying (right across the street). For starters, their guacamole is wonderful. I usually tend toward a chicken dish with beans and rice, and everyone I've ever had there... More

Stopped here on recommendation of motel across the street. Was very impressed and great tasting food as well as service. Different that I'm use to in Ohio. I would highly recommend it to anyone not wanting fast food and local flavor.

The food is authentic Mexican, reasonably priced with luncheon specials for $7.95, and dinners are inexpensive, too. The food was really good, large portions and tasty. The service is good and the servers are friendly. We ate there for both lunch and dinner while staying across the street at a hotel. Would definitely go again when in Los Angeles LAX... More

I was staying at a nearby hotel and didn't feel like driving so i walked over and had the best Nachos ever! They boasted tons of meat, cheese, sour cream, JALAPENOS, and much more. The TV was great and had the Jets game on and I was a happy camper. Definitely worth dining at.

Went there food was great, got tacos de carne asada. Very traditional taste. The atmosphere is kind of scary, all dark and musty, looks like the bars in the scary parts of Mexico. Not the cleanest, outdated, parking and getting there is kind of difficult due to construction. Server was kind of rude, no customer service. Other than that food... More

We love Mexican food and we were not disappointed. There were dishes that we have not tried before. We plan to go there again to try some of the other dishes. It was obvious that the diners also included locals. The service was quick and friendly and the waiter answered all our questions about the dishes we were not familiar... More
