Having lived in Huntington Beach for 24 years we have watched Surf City grow from a sleepy beach town to being an "on-the-map" tourist destination. Because of that many of the chain-type restaurants pop up that are always crowded and they have food that is non-descript. Not so with Las Barcas. Located right on Beach Blvd (Basically the main drag... More

I recently was out in Huntington Beach visiting relatives and we went to Las Barcas for Taco Tuesday. Excellent pork soft shell tacos. Previously, I'd had a massive burrito on an earlier trip. This is my favorite place on Huntington Beach.

Not used to this type of Mexican restaurant. We prefer sit-down-and-be-waited on Mexican restaurants, but we found the food to be very good and prices very reasonable. Would go here again.

The menu is extensive so you can get your "Mexican food fix" and be happy. Smaller portions, to full meals are available. There is draft and bottle beer, as well. I had a shrimp enchilada, others had beef, chicken or fish tacos. The order includes tortillas and your choose of various salsas. Great place to relax with friends.

I have been a regular customer for many years. The food is wonderful and the place is always crowded. Take out or eat in. I do both. Yummy food and authentic. Enjoy.

Las Barcas has been an HB mainstay for years and most locals eat there about once a week or whenever the craving for Mexican food hits them. The thing about this little spot is the food, the always great, served piping hot, huge portions food. You can call in (like most of us do) and then pick up your order.... More

Always busy because the food is always very good. No food sitting around as your order is cooked fresh. We actually take our more than eat in, but always call ahead by at least 30 minutes. There's a salsa bar so you can spice up your food to your own taste. When you go, just know there will be a... More

Las Barcas is absolutely delicious. Best chips I have ever tasted and a wide selection of Mexican dishes. The locals often eat here, as well as the tourists- so you know its a good place to go. We had lunch here three times on our four day trip to HB - it was that good. Prices are very reasonable and... More
