Our daughter brought us here for a quick visit for lunch and to shop at the German Deli market next door. Having lived in Germany for 16 years, we were no strangers to German cuisine. We had the Currywurst, which was a usual snack back...in the day. Had my wife and I had known how large the portions were, we would have shared. Great tasting brat, with two on a bed of fries. Curry sauce was spot on. Split a pitcher of Warsteiner. Overall, I’d say we were well fed and enjoyed the sunny afternoon in the outdoors.More

This was 3 hours my life I wont get back.... So poorly organized!! No common sense to the organization. There are people that took the time, paid the service fee to buy their tickets on line and were prepared for the event. We waited in...the same long (2 1/2 hours of waiting..) line as people that still had to purchase their tickets. Not only did we pay more for our tickets on line it was to no advantage. The person running this puts everyone in the same line to wait for those that still have to buy tickets. They had 3 ticket windows I believe- why wouldnt they have a line formed of people who had the courtesy to be prepared and purchased tickets in advance? We should of been let in way before people that just showed up! Never ever, ever again... they obviously oversold the event on Saturday and we all had to pay for it! I was tired before I even went in.More

The Biergarten at Old World Village in Huntington Beach is a delightful outdoor beer garden and entertainment venue. Perfect place to visit especially during Oktoberfest! It's good to visit ok other occasions too! It's known for its lively and festive atmosphere, where visitors can enjoy...a variety of German beers, traditional German cuisine, and live German music. One can experience a taste of German culture and enjoy the company of fellow revelers. It's a great place to relax with friends and family while enjoying a taste of Germany in Southern California.More

The wife and I have been here before. We were out with the family who now live CA and have never had German food. BTW, I grew up in Germany as an army brat Even with the pandemic, the service was fast and friendly. There...were 6 of us and we all ordered something different. We had everything from Goulash soup, Saurerbraten, to Jager Schnitzel. We were disappointed in any of the food. This is the closest I have come to authentic German food since leaving Germany. After you finish eating, make it a point to walk around and take pictures. I would also recommend at stop at the deli/bakery, you will not be disappointed. I would recommend this establishmentMore

We stopped by for the first time to this sleepy village. We ordered a small pretzel and potato pancakes which were both good but a bit pricey. They should upgrade the quality of the pretzel. The young waitress was great and the service of the...food was quick. This would be a great place to hang out with friends and drink beer in the outdoor patio.More

The food here is fantastic, we went twice within a five day period. The food it’s expensive but it’s worth it. They have live music Friday to Sunday. On Sunday it’s over at 7:30pm. The service is incredible. They really help you if you don’t...know what to eat and you don’t have to wait so much to get your food. I highly recommend going there. Also you can check the town around. It’s a shopping center with a German touch. More

We meet a group of friends there for dinner. The restaurant is located right off the extremely busy 405 freeway or parking lot. This is a tourist spot as they also have several old-world type German shops and a deli to visit as well. The...restaurant is typical German style with large tables covered by red and white checkered plastic table cloths. The waitress are dressed in classic german Hofbreau dresses. We ordered the Schweinhaxen which is a pork shank slowly braised typically for several hours. This is a very good meal and comes with your choice of two sides. Although they don't have a wall brazier like many restaurants in Germany it was still very good. The German potato salad and the cold slaw were good and very authentic. Their menu is quite large and offers a big variety of what a typical German Hofbreau would. The beer selection is wide and very good, served frosty cold in pints to large vessels.More
