A little pricey but the portions are big and easily shareable. My favorite is the lobster and the king crab. The steaks are also very good.

We did not have reservations but wait time was maybe only a half an hour so we had drinks at the bar. The wait staff was excellent all around, kudos to them. The appetizers would have been awesome but for the mussels. I have never seen mussels so big before they were huge!! Unfortunately they were also very bad!! My... More

I was not sure of kids in a place like this. Mine were never found of fish so I would not take them, and really don't recall seeing kids in there. It is a fairly pricy place, kind of cramped, its a spot on PCH, in Sunset, so why would you expect anything different. Parking can be a pain but... More

2 years ago had amazing dinner. Traveled 1300 miles this time and crab legs were great but prime rib was horrible , fatty and not good flavor . They rushed us through the entire dinner and did not have a relaxing experience. Very disappointed.

Reservation at 9:00 pm, we were there at 8:45, in the table at 9, 20 minutes to get the menu, time printed in the check 11:01, order mussels, crab legs (already cook), prime rib(already cook). Two hours waiting, worst experience ever. A lot of servers but no one assign to your table, the worst disaster in service I ever saw.... More

The place is usually crowded. It is a tight fit. It is not on the ocean, but it is on the harbor. The food is good. Most things are sold separately. If you order a steak or sea food, your salad and potato are extra, so it gets pretty pricey. The wait staff are good, but the ones we have... More

My friend and I had dinner here on a Saturday night. Very busy and popular place. The food was good, and the wait staff experienced but if you're looking for a romantic, quiet spot, this is not the place. It was pretty loud, but again, it was a Saturday night.

This was the choice for a breakfast Brunch /Lunch. The terrace overlooked the Ocean. The Apple, Pecan Chicken Salad was so amazing and so was the price. The quality was good and the portion size so much I had to take some home. Realizing I could not eat like a grown man but even my husband barely finished his. The... More

My partner and I love this restaurant. We always visit when we are staying in Huntington Beach. The food is very consistent and the wait staff is very attentive. I would suggest getting there early or having reservations. Wait times can be long on a busy night. They have a lounge area that is frequently busy.

Living in Huntington Beach for 30+ years we felt it time to try Captain Jack's. We'd made reservations the day before. In a short wait for our table we were overpowered by five LOUD people at the bar… after being seated these same people were sat next to us. When our server was speaking to us about the menu items...
