We have eaten at Dukes in Maui and enjoyed the food. When I realized there was a Dukes in Huntingtn Beach I was ecstatic! We made reservations for noon on a busy Saturday but arrived early. The hostess was kind enough to seat us immediately by a window and Brad, our waiter was fantastic. My husband and I had the... More

On any given day, Duke's is very good in food & atmosphere. I was disappointed to have brought out of town quests for Sunday brunch to find out there is virtually no seafood on brunch buffet.

The meal was the best I had during my 2 week trip travelling USA. The server knew his fish and recommended well with the Opah. Cool vibe and it's lovely to eat here at sunset to see the beautiful sky. Highly recommend a trip to this restaurant!!!

We could not have been more pleased. Our server was friendly and patient, even when we were discussing business instead of reading our menus. We started with the crab and cream cheese wantons, which were amazing! I had a Caesar salad and an order of Coconut Shrimp, which were delicious. My husband chose the Onah (very mild fish flavor which... More

Stopped in for drinks and a snack while visiting for the day. The atmosphere is chain like. I assume the view is normally amazing but on our visit the beach was being prepared for some event with tall bleachers so our view was less than optimal. Service was attentive and the food was fantastic. We both enjoyed the Bloody Mary... More

Great location, food and service. Sits on the edge of the beach, adjacent to the famous Huntington Beach pier. Very popular with locals and tourists. Have consistently had delicious food, particularly fish dishes. The salmon recipes are outstanding and consistently so. The Mai Tais are the best this side of Hawaii. We had our 50th anniversary celebration here with family... More

We live 3 blocks from Dukes and drop in about once a month. Make sure that you go to the Barefoot Bar and have some Hula Pie.

Didn't like that people were hovering waiting for guests to leave so they could be seated. Should just be a waiting list like the rest of the restaurant. Service was horrible. Really really slow. Painful. So painful, we ordered our drinks, food and asked for our check at the same time. Don't know what our server was doing , but... More

A great atmosphere for good seafood and drinks with friends. We often bring out-of-town guests here.
