Basilico’s has the best Italian food! Better than in Italy! I’m Serious! Love, love, love this restaurant!

Any place where the owner greets/welcomes you is a sign of class and indicative of quality. Our meals were exceptional. Had the Cheese Lasagna ($22) and it was a homerun!! Full of flavor & large portion. Told the lasagna is even better on Friday, something...to do with the meat sauce. No secret when I'm returning and what my order will be. Girlfriend had the pasta with homemade meatballs ($20) and loved it. The meatballs (two) were the size of golf balls, maybe bigger. Full Bar. Small restaurant that fills quickly. Every available spot has a table ... so packed. Some outside seating. Be early or wait. Will be back.More

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with more than welcoming staff. Look forward to visiting before 2020 ends.

I had read about this restaurant in Huntington Beach without masks. My County and town in Arizona do not mandate masks, so I'm used to not wearing them. Anyway, I wanted to come here for lunch with my son. The bread was excellent and just...the right warmth. The entrees were great. I ordered an appetizer but it did not arrive. Oh well, next time. Claude, our waiter, offered an excellent choice of wine. Kai, our busboy, kept our table clear. All in all, a great day!!More

Worth the wait. Please stop going there if you are afraid of your own shadow, it makes the wait times shorter for us that value our own rights and great food.

Excellent bread to start with a great crust. Had the "Brando" Very nice adult beverage. Main course was the Cioppino. Loved it. Salmon melted in your mouth and the scallops were perfect. The staff were friendly and did a great job.

Tasty food in such a wonderful atmosphere where you can feel like the world has not gone mad and you are treated as a human, relating to other humans. The people who are complaining about the fact that they are not wearing masks in there?...Well, in other places you are wearing a mask for 5 seconds till you sit down. It makes no sense! Keep making with the great food AND the FREEDOM, Basilico's!!More

Last night, our family went to Basilico's Pasta e Vino to celebrate my birthday. While we were waiting for a table, the owner came over and introduced himself, asking us how long we'd been waiting. My husband said, "I have no idea." This is a...highly unusual sentence for my husband, being that he's so mindful of time, but even waiting for our name to be called for a table was fun at Basilico's, so much fun that we pretty much forgot about the time. The owner was genuine and friendly, talking to many customers. I assumed Basilico's would have good pasta, but I was unprepared for how wonderful the fried calamari appetizer was. After my family and I devoured the larger parts of this appetizer, I found myself eating the crumbs, being that they were seasoned so well. Our entrees were also excellent. The meal ended with some scrumptious desserts, including a birthday dessert for me, complete with candle. The waiter got my kids and husband involved, singing "Happy Birthday" to me in both English AND Italian. My favorite desserts were the cannoli and tiramisu. I hope we'll soon return and try some more food on the extensive menu. I LOVED this restaurant--I didn't want to leave! :)More

What a horrible business. Wouldn't allow us to wear our masks. A casual dinner for business and all three of us were traveling. Came to the restaurant with masks and were told to remove them. We were incredulous. Said they wouldn't serve us if we...wore masks. Never have I seen such a blatant disregard for rules and health concerns. Wait staff was decent. Food wasn't up to par. Prices indicate they thought the food was better than it was. Would not recommend to anyone.More

We went here for a 2 year anniversary. Food was average and service was subpar. The waitstaff disgusted me with no coverage on their mouths.
