The food and ambience was very nice. I must say though the set menu is to expensive for what you get . For $60 per person a antipasto (share amongst 4) and one main meal and coffee is not feasible ie family of 3 equates...to 180.00. ( that’s pretty steep) My suggestion is to include a pasta to share also and this will then justify it - I would even pay $65 per person.More

Second visit to Zia Teresa and it only gets better. Pan Fried Prawn Cutlets for a starter, and mopped up the sauce with amazing garlic bread. Fish of the Day spectacular, flavours so good. Servings are generous, which was lovely but no space for dessert....They looked just as good as everything else from what we could see. And the Aperol Spritz took me right back to Verona, with the added ambience created by a wonderful waiter, Antonio. We’ll definitely make this one of our go to places. Lovely evening.More

Located in busy Lygon Street, East Brunswick. Beautifully appointed restaurant. Prices are a little higher than other Italian restaurants but the food was delicious and the service attentive. Worth it if you want to impress or if you want to give a loved one a...treat. On Thursday nights they have $25 meatball pasta and a glass of wine...More

Went to this restaurant in East Brunswick with friends last night. The service was attentive and professional. The one strange thing last night was that we were given drinks menus to start with but no food menus. My friends wanted wine with dinner but didn’t...want to order until they knew what they were eating. I had white anchovies with an orange and fennel salad which was delicious with a very generous serving of anchovies. One of my friends had mixed bruschetta which he said was very tasty. My main course was basically spaghetti marinara and was excellent. A very light tomato sauce with a good serving of fresh seafood. Again a delicious dish. My friends also had a seafood dish but was pasta stuffed with seafood which they said was very tasty but I do think they had food envy. They both had an Italian red wine which was very good. Overall the dinner was excellent and yep I would head back here again.More

Finally got to book and was so delighted I did for it was 8:30pm and it was a full house! We started with some antipastos, artichoke filled with gorganzolo cheese wrapt in prosciutto🙌🏻 Prawn cutlets; brushette miste. Sheer mouthwatering pleasure for your tastebuds! Mains we...chose the gnocchi Ragu and I chose the spaghetti misto mare ❤️. We are certainly coming back to Zias❤️🙌🏻 The service 5/5 The meals 5/5 we will be back❤️🙌🏻More

When I want carbs, say no more! The pasta is to die for and this is my go to! The staff were friendly and it's one of the most authentic italian restaurants in Melbourne. Also beautiful ambiance.

Was really looking forward to eating here but was bitterly disappointed. The service was prompt and friendly but that’s where it ended. Meals were bland and tasteless. Ordered the seafood special- was overly salty tasteless dry and quite frankly awful. Steak I’m told tasted stewed...and was full of gristle and completely undercooked accompaniments were too salty and over cooked. Didn’t risk and desserts. Don’t waste your moneyMore

Met friends for a catch up dinner on a Saturday night. Our friends like this place because it allows BYO wine. The food was good and the serves were ample. I enjoyed my bruschette and the Scaloppine main. The place wasn't packed but was noisy...enough to have atmosphere. Would go again.More

Very friendly staff and prompt service, however meal was disappointing. Pasta was ok but nothing special. A special of the evening was a seafood pasta, however not much seafood evident once the outer casing of the crab was removed plus 2 little prawns. Of the...main meals only one mentioned that it was accompanied by veggies/potatoes, all others I presume would have needed sides to be ordered, which consisted only of salad.More

I was fortunate enough to be invited to a Birthday celebration to be held at Zia Teresa Brunswick East at the recommendation of our mutual friend who has also recently attended a similar event. As this was a Wednesday evening our party of six was...also able to select from the fabulous $20 pasta and glass of wine choices (which incredibly also included the daily pasta specials). Delicious!! Every single one of our party was delighted and very satisfied. A couple of us will be going back very soon for the steak which I am told, is excellent. Can’t wait. Also it’s such a convenient place. Two trams (1&6) stop just across the road, it’s close to the CBD, plus it’s so relaxing to wander around after and dinner enjoy the atmosphere etc. There is a lot of competition in Brunswick but Zia Teresa really shines. I’m sure you will enjoy the food and friendly charm of this lovely restaurant.More

Zia Teresa is the kind of restaurant that you seek when you want an authentic experience. From the fresh ingredients, to the handmade pasta you can sense a tradition that is passed down through generations. The service is amazing, the menu uncomplicated and the food...to die for. Having lived in this suburb for many years, my only regret is that I didn't eat there sooner. If you're travelling to Melbourne, this is the kind of place that the locals keep a secret.More

I’ve been coming here for over 20 years with my girl friends for our birthday dinners. The food is always amazing and just perfect. The specials are always yummy as well. We normally share 4 entree’s and get 4 different mains and share them as...well. Zia’s is always a pleasure, we always leave feeling satisfied with our meals. The staff are excellent always so polite and know their ways. See you soon for our Christmas catch up dinner. XoxoMore

This was my first visit and my partner had not been for many years. The service was extremely attentive and informative. We were advised not to have any additional sides as our mains would come with enough and this was spot on. We shared the...mixed bruschetta and the 4-cheese gnocchi as starters and both were very good. In fact the gnocchi was exceptional - very light and tasty. I had a grilled seafood mix which was on the specials board, and my partner had the lamb, and again, both of these were delightful. All washed down with a very nice Chianti which I felt was reasonable value. There is the option to BYO wine and I believe the corkage is $12 a bottle. All-in-all an excellent evening and we certainly plan to return.More
