Some of the best Thai food around. Fast and easy to order over the phone. Only draw back is it's cash only. They send you to an atm if you don't have cash on you.

I hadn't been to this joint in about 7years and it it just how I remember it! Great portion of food , friendly welcome by the chef at the front and perfect service. Desperately needs a refurbishment that's not even something that should be thought about twice . We sat upstairs , it is more intimate up there and heating... More

This place used to be good. The little guy behind the counter is really rude. Only after a dollar. He used to own a restaurant in Fitzroy years ago. Still hasn't changed. There are far better Thai places with better service around. Do yourself a favour, at least if you go get takeout so you never meet him

We got take out on this occasion, nice quick food. A bit of a pain to park nearby to pick up, but worth it. Large servings with fresh veggies, lots of chicken also I the stir fry. Chicken was very tasty. Noodles were a bit dry but very tasty. Victoria's Butterflies are nice. This place is busy for good reason.

Been here loads of times!! Always get the satay chicken skewers for entree then share a few mains with coconut rice! Lamb curry is a must! Good, clean restaurant with fast service!

One of my favourite places in Brunswick east. The food is so tasty and fresh. They put loads of veg in their curries. The pad Thai is my go to when I'm unsure what I want. The place is very no frills and cash only. But they do have an atm. I love the owner very friendly. Some of the... More

The food is always good and flavours are certainly there. Good family restaurant too but could get extremely noisy on some days.

Popped in here on a Saturday night, no booking required. Thaila Thai is a BYO restaurant that charges $1:50/person corkage, but does not have alcohol for sale in the restaurant itself. Staff were friendly but busy, and seating is small but not cramped. Food came out in good time given it was a Saturday night, though items won't always come... More

Thaila Thai is a large thai restaurant on Lygon street, Brunswick East. Because it is such a busy area with restaurants and cafes parking is often difficult, so if you live locally I would advise taking the tram to get there if you can. The food portions are large and although not the best thai I have ever tasted are... More

It was a busy Saturday night and food was average. Had Tom yam soup, it was rather bland. Satay was okay, not fantastic. The main meals were also average, poor presentation piled with heaps of vegetables. The white rice in the fried rice were clumped together and you could still taste the salt in it. Service wasn't too bad. The... More
