Authentic Mexican home-style food. Good service, very large portions and cheap prices. The salsa with the nachos is tasty, and the fish tacos and the burrito were good, but nothing extraordinary.

I was in town visiting a friend and wanted a quick bite to eat for lunch. Found Rosa's and their menu looked good so gave it a shot. Burrito was huge and tasty! It was a nice addition to find tortilla chips and salsa came...with the burrito as well. Recommend for anyone in the area.More

Every neighborhood deserves an independent Mexican restaurant and South Hermosa is lucky enough to have Rosa's. The food is just the kind of comfort food you look for and the prices are very reasonable. We love it. One tip - the regular burritos are huge....If you're not starving, you might want to order the junior size.More

They may have become a victim of their own success, but Rosa's is always worth a visit when we are in the South Bay area. The homemade salsa is worth it alone. Generous portions for burritos, although I prefer the combo plate for a little...bit of taco and enchilada. Gets busy at times, but it is off the beach so the prices are still OK and the family atmosphere still exists. I have been a visiting (sporadically) for over 35 years and they have always been great. I hope they stay around for another 35 so my great grand kids can visit,More

Rosa's is a long standing mexican restaurant in Hermosa. It is a smaller place, basic, and has great food. I love the burritos there. They are big and filling and the flavor is amazing.

Went here with friends and we were greeted and seated by a very friendly waiter. Our drinks came out fast but our order took some time. The place was very busy and the waiters were moving all the time. When our food came it was...very hot - I mean spicy hot. I would of preferred to add hot salsa myself. The food was ok but too hot for me.More

Really good food any very modest prices! Management and staff go out of their way to be accommodating. This place has been around for 40+/- years or more so is obviously doing a whole lot right!

If your looking for really good Mexican food and friendly staff this is the place to go. This is more authentic food vs those fusion Mexican restaurants that you see a lot of in California. I give it two thumbs up.

Rosa's has been a dependable Mexican restaurant in Hermosa Beach for MANY years. They have good chicken enchiladas with all white meat! I just tried another local Mexican restaurant --Cozymels in El Segundo--that charges 50% more and uses mostly dark meat in their very disappointing...chicken enchiladas. Rosa's also makes very good carnitas. I like their rice and beans a lot. The beans are the "mushy" light colored ones with a little melted cheese on top. (But you can order black beans if you prefer.) Another great thing about Rosa's is they deliver locally (at certain times of the day) at NO charge! Unheard of these days! Once my order was mistakenly delivered without the chips. I called to let the restaurant know. They offered to deliver chips as soon as the driver returned, without my even asking! Not only did they deliver the chips, they apologized profusely on the phone, and so did the delivery man! I keep getting the same things, so I can't review their entire menu. I happen to love good ranchera sauce (with onions, cheese and a flavorful, mild red sauce) and Rosa's doesn't have ranchera sauce. But they do substitute their mild green sauce for me, instead of the regular thin, enchilada sauce. The green sauce is good. Much better than the disappointing "ranchera" sauce from Cozymel's! If you happen to have any room left, Rosa's makes a delicious flan for dessert. Nice people, clean neighborhood restaurant, very tasty food at extremely reasonable prices! Happy Eating!More

The facility is clean, the air is fresh and the food is fabulous!! The waiter is attentive and accommodating. One side of the restaurant had the game on and the other side was a little quieter for those who did not want to watch. The...food was excellent and the price very reasonable!! This is definitely a must!! Do not go to Hermosa and not visit!!More

Great little find in Hermosa Beach. Good Mexican food with reasonable prices. We were there for lunch and enjoyed it very much. I had the pork taco plate and found it not overly spicy. Parking is in the rear, so drive around the corner.
