Been here several times, food is average at best. Disappointingly, tacos and salads are overloaded with lettuce (obviously used as filler) and very little meat. Fajitas were very boring. Service can be fair to good just depends on the waiter/waitress. Most staff seemed friendly. Margaritas are watered down, again with fillers and could taste no alcohol. After several visits here... Los Vaqueros Cantina & Grill is a fun place to eat with friends and family. The decor is like you have gone to an Old Mexico City of the past. Music is fun and the staff are friendly. It reminds me of Old Town in San Diego. Food is good and appleaing to the eye. Prices are reasonable and the... More

The hostess was not friendly when she greeted us. We asked for a booth. She took us through the whole restaurant, passing many empty booths. She seated us in the back next to the waitress station and near the restrooms. I asked her if we could be seated at a nice booth in the middle of the restaurant. She glared... More

It is pricey, but the food is really good and so is the service. We finally tried the Sunday buffet and it was awesome. Our out of town guest who is schooled in food prep and fussier than us was impressed, as other people we have taken there have also been. I would never guess from the outside of the... More

I was in town to visit a client and missed them before they left for lunch, so my co-worker and I stopped by here for lunch. The buffet was reasonably priced, and the food selection was good. They even had sweet tea, which is unusual for this region.

Great happy hour. Drinks very good and at a great price. Food on the other hand not as good as I would have liked. Refried beans tasted funny and the ground beef wasn't the best I have had. The staff however were outstanding.

This is your typical Mexican restaurant, nothing special. I can get the same quality of food at a Taco Shop or a Taqueria, sometimes better. I had coffee to drink with my meal and asked for cream. They gave me the flavored creamer in the little single serve plastic containers. I don't like the flavored creamer so this, for me,... More
