I’ve been to this restaurant several times now. The soup shooters are either awesome or meh! Same for several other menu items. It’s on the expensive side so I’ll probably still try again but will check the menu first. Family was not impressed 😢

Tasty food but portions were minuscule. Wine is priced high, even for Healdsburg. Good place for an appetizer and a drink but hard to get filled up. Shishito pepper dish was good. Scallops are good but way overpriced

Our first time to this little gem and we loved it. Great wine flights and the most unbelievable pork belly biscuits. Share a few pasta dishes and you will have plenty! Definitely need a reservation!

What a pleasant restaurant. It was described to me as a restaurant of small plates. T me, that usually means I'll need to hunt up a snack somewhere else afterward. Our group of 5 enjoyed a variety of dishes, and while some were appetizer-sized (meaning...More

Chalkboard was recommended to us as a nice change of pace. Indeed it was. A wonderful space just off the main street welcomed us when we arrived. Most of the offerings were of a size to share. We had a salad made with heirloom tomatoes,...More

This restaurant serves sharing plates, for those who prefer different tastes. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. At her suggestion, we ordered 4 plates (2 vegetables and 2 meat dishes) between 2 people, but even this was too much as the helpings were substantial. The...More

Had read so many wonderful reviews, food and cocktails were incredible! Support service staff was cheerful and attentive. Our main server was irritated from the minute we met her. She left her smile and positive attitude at home. So sad, as team can make or...More

Always such a treat to come here. After all these years, Chalkboard still doesn't disappoint. We started off our meal with a Burrata, which was nice but didn't wow us quite yet. It started to get better with the Grilled Brentwood Corn, with great fresh...More

We dined at Chalkboard our 2nd evening in Healdsburg. It is located inside Hotel Les Mars. The bar was packed, we were seated outside in a nice patio area. Our server was good, but a little slow to check on us. We shared the Gem...More

Unusual and high quality food prepared and served with a flair. Atmosphere is nice but a bit tight. Definitely don't go if you're on a budget.

Usually it is the amount of the restaurant's least expensive wine but you'd have to call the restaurant to verify.

Hello Lynne - we had well over a hundred guests for a rehearsal gathering which was held on the patio. We had oysters, pork sliders and a bunch of other great food during the cocktail hour followed by a buffet dinner. They... More
