About
Guests have all five of their senses enlivened at Healdsburg's most romantic destination. Inventive cuisine, a stunning backdrop and impeccable service create a welcome retreat "worthy of a journey". Madrona Manor captures the rich culture of wine, food and nature inherent to the region. A stellar wine list expresses the varied bounty of the local vintners as well as global sources. Chef Mallgren prepares New Californian cuisine using the finest ingredients available in the county, as well as greens, vegetables, herbs and fruit from our gardens. Visitors can stroll through the beautiful gardens which meander up the hillside just beyond the mansion. One Star Michelin - Michelin Guides San Francisco,

The staff is friendly, the food is OK but far from deserving a Michelin star. The green salad was fine but ordinary. Just greens with a vinaigrette dressing. The gnocchi was good, but again, commensurate with any gnocchi you’d find in a mid level restaurant....More

Excellent wine list and first class service. Great dining experience. We sat outside and it was very nice with beautiful views of grounds. Food was very good. Had interesting onion and delicious onion soup. Had seafood entrees and they were perfectly prepared. One dish was...More

WE had a 40th anniversary dinner, using the tasting menu. The food was delicious and beautifully presented with superb wine pairings. It IS expensive, and is the only restaurant where we have eaten that has a Michelin star. The setting is beautiful, a historic mansion...More

We did tasting menu with wine - we weren't sorry. Terrific. There were five courses with a wine pairing (optional). At $98 for the prix fixe, it was a great price quality trade off.

My meal started out really lovely. I inquired how long a tasting menu might take and perhaps this was interpreted as me being in a hurry as I go through my displeasure of Madrona Manor in retrospect. The early spring tasting menu began with the...More

We have stayed at the Madrona Manor many times and have always been delighted with the spacious and beautiful, well-appointed rooms. Dinner last night was wonderful. The Hokkaido scallop appetizer literally melted in your mouth, the halibut was done perfectly and the lamb was tender...More

We have been here before, but not for many years. It’s a great place for a romantic dinner, with small rooms as opposed to a large dining room, which allows for some privacy. We were here with friends and ordered appetizers and mains. The appetizers,...More

Yes. They have a 6 course option but also have a regular menu. We did the chef's tasting menu matched with wines and it was outstanding. But it's a lovely experience even if you do the regular menu. Enjoy your birthday!!

I know they have vegetarian entrees which you could ask them to make vegan. I'd call Madrona and ask the maitre'd.
