Has to be the best upscale restaurant in Healdsburg. Everything here is fantastic. Great for a nice night out. On the expensive side, but worth it. Great perk is no corkage fee if you bring your own Sonoma county wine.

Plenty of room for outdoor dining, enjoyable food and excellent service. The mushroom-scallop risotto was wonderful, very flavorful - and plenty to share. My wife & I split on wine preference - white vs red - so we ordered from the wine-by-the-glass menu. We found...the selection good and the prices reasonable. My favorite was the Open Mic from Capo Creek, a GSMC blend. By chance the vineyard owner was 2 tables over and the DCK staff arranged for a fly by conversation. The owner visited with us for a bit. A very nice treat for the evening.More
This weekend, we drove up to Healdsburg to escape our small apartment in San Francisco to enjoy some nice wines, fine dining, and to relax. Thankfully, we were successful except for the decision to book a table at Dry Creek Kitchen. The concierge at our...hotel told us that Dry Creek Kitchen was the top restaurant in Healdsburg so we said, "great! Book it." We were seated at a nice table and we had something like four servers. Here is how we ordered our dinner: Appetizer: Ahi tuna tartar = good (the best thing we ate that evening) but I've had better. Main course: I had the chicken, it was dried out and had a mishmash of veg. My wife had the scallops (looked like they had been frozen), muscles with a light tomato sauce served over tagliatelle. This was the most disappointing dish as the flavors and seasoning didn't work. My daughter had the salmon which quite honestly looked like something you might get at pre-Covid wedding buffet or served at seat on a long flight overseas. Lastly, the wines were super expensive so our server talked us into the "special" wine ($95) which was less than good. Overall, the bill came out to $300. I have no problem spending that kind of money on a great dinner but this was very disappointing and really had no value. The moral of this story is that there are many good restaurants in Healdsburg, but I would stay clear of the Dry Creek Kitchen. The other Healdsburg Hotel restaurant that was very good was Pizando just down the block.More
We had the Thursday night family dinner October 22nd. The entree was bone in rib eye for 2 with french fries. You could also order from the a la carte menu. The steaks were perfect and served with 3 sauces including Bearnaise Sauce. We also...ordered the Ahi Poke appetizer which is the best rendition in town. We also had the financiers for dessert which are a house specialty. The bar is excellent as well. Because of the pandemic there is only outside seating which is great for this location. There are many areas around the property for tables that are well apart and plenty of patio heaters if needed. The atmosphere is much more casual and very inviting. The vibe is exceptional and you are made to feel at home immediately. The steaks were grilled by chefs Charlie Palmer and Scott Romano on a large BBQ in the atrium area where we were seated. Both chefs were talking with the guests, nothing pretentious at all. It was wonderful. The general manager, Dan Prentice took care to see all guests were receiving the best service and attention. Some restaurants in town can be rather arrogant and others the waitstaff can be unprofessional, not here. The cappuccino after dinner is also the best in town.More
Outside dining forced by Covid restrictions was a very positive experience on a beautiful evening. Service was quick then attentive throughout our meal. The Culetto Mary's chicken had a unique flavor from the ham crust but was a bit on the dry side. The salmon...was very good.More
Excellent wine list and terrific service all around. Dan, the manager took really good care of us. I highly recommend the tuna tartare, diver scallops and salmon dishes. Skillet focaccia is delicious. It's very private and quiet. Beautiful table settings and the front patio is...beautiful with climbing vines, plants and trees and romantic lighting. Everything is very tastefully done.More
Travelers and locales alike, I am speechless over this "diy" custom made omelet. Comes with two strips of bacon. Fruit cup is a nice side to this delicious yet nutricious delectable. All included in your stay at Hotel Healdsburg. You can choose items to be...some or have all of them, such as spinach, ham, bell pepper, jack cheese, green onions. There is also a choice of doing regular eggs or egg whites. Your choice! My personal favorite omelet is the one stuffed to the gills with all the good stuff! Dry Creek Kitchen is the place to be in the am! Yum!!!More
During these terrible times, it’s great to see restaurants coming back, especially in California, with ingenious outdoor dining. Many restaurants in Healdsburg are rushing to create wonderful outdoor spaces. Dry Creek Kitchen is one of those. Nice plaza dining, along with good service and delicious...food will make you very happy here. Our server, Rebecca, was both professional and charming. We dined on an Heirloom Cucumber Salad as well as a Tomato and Coppa Salad with grilled Peaches! Our main courses were perfectly cooked King Salmon along with Diver Scallops with Arugula Risotto. The menu is not very large as most are during the pandemic, but the choices are very nice. We felt safe here as all protocols are being conducted properly. We highly recommend DCK if you are planning to be in the Healdsburg area.More
