Food was terrible. First time ordering from here through Grubhub. Took a chance and it was a huge disappointment. We had to throw out most of the food. The rolls and anything fried had that strange taste that usually is a sign that the oil...needs to be changed. Sadly we spent $60 and forced ourselves to take a few bites of the fried rice which had mostly peas and carrots. Felt like we threw $60 down the drain.More

Have been visiting Le Paradis when it was on Main Street in Hayward , then it was more of a Patisserie and less of a restaurant . Now that the owners have located on Mission Blvd the restaurant now has full service Vietnamese menu along...with dishes from other Asian cuisines . Besides keeping their Patisserie of delectable sweets and breads in store . I have had numerous menu selections over the years and particular like their Vietnamese sandwiches and croissant sandwiches , always filling. My very favorite dishes are the Pho' selections . Large bowls of steaming wonderful broth and filled with your meat selections . All the condiments that come with pho' are provided abundantly . Alice and her husband run this very busy restaurant and are perfect hosts ... i actually refer to Le Paradis as Alice's restaurant ... i have moved away but my food buds remain at Alice's , when i am in Hayward i love to come in for a bowl of hot delicious soup . If you happen to be French and yearn for some good french pastries or french bread , this is your place away from home , besides Alice speaks French as well .More

We had heard good things, but true, best Vietnamese soup in town. The entire menu looks yummy. We also had the papaya salad, very good. Light and tasty. A pretty good variety if pastry too.

The food here is very fresh, made to order for each and every customer. They have vegan and vegetarian options, and will accommodate all your needs. Their pastries are delicious, and reminds me of original french taste. The owner is very nice and welcoming!

This is owner Alice's restaurant decorated with mementos of her travels and featuring delicious Vietnamese and Southeast Asian lunches and dinners and baked goods born of her training in France. Vietnamese sandwiches are a steal at $3.00, and huge soup. rice or noodle based meals...range from about $7 to $8. If in doubt, order a combination plate with BBQ pork, beef, and egg rolls with vermicelli and salad--$8.95. There are also croissant sandwiches made to order.More

Vietnamese cuisine (i.e. pho, noodles, etc.) with prices from $8.00 to $9.50+. Stronger Vietnamese style hot/iced coffee (as a change from the usual Starbucks or Peets). There is a bakery with pastries (around $2.00) to go with that coffee if you want a simple coffee...break instead. Adequate seating. Parking in a fenced off area by the restaurant or just across the street in a municipal free parking lot. Friendly staff. One person on duty so depending on the crowd, be a bit patient. Reminded me of the local mom and pop restaurants in Honolulu as a child. Sit back and enjoy a slower paced dining experience in a local place.More

This is absolutely, a must restaurant to visit and enjoy the appetizers, entrees, the pastries, sandwiches and more.... Alice is the owner and she is a delightful and personal individual, her son, daughter, husband and other relatives are there to assist her regularly. Going to...Le Paradis is like dining at home. Very, nice atmosphere as well as smiles and glad to accommodate you on your choice of meal! My husband loves the Pho, he could eat their every day. I enjoy the fresh Spring Rolls or the hot ones also, the vermicelli dishes too. If I should decide not to cook, we get in the car and he says; well where shall we go, and all the time he is going straight to Le Paradis. It doesn't matter what you order you will enjoy it? Don't take my word for it, just go there and "Try It You'll Like It!"More

The restaurant is truly dress as very fine restaurant and we missed their foods that are more influenced by experienced from Paris and Vietnam which is truly reflected on their served foods. The cost is reasonable and very worthy for the price. They have also...a bakery that made a specialty bread, cakes, cookies, etc. Dislike noneMore

This Vietnamese restaurant and French style bakery is one of my haunts in Hayward. To get the best pastries and cakes, ask them to make them and they will be fresh and expertly made and quite reasonable in price. The Vietnamese food is good. I...like their Bun Bo Hue, the spicy beef noodle soup. The broth is very good and the noodles still have some spring. They use the right herbs.More

Driven past this restaurant for years and decided to try it. It is so small that you can see the restaurant, bakery and kitchen as you walk in. The tables and chairs are old and creaky. The owner, Alice, was our server. We ordered the...Shrimp and Pork Spring Rolls with peanut sauce. On the menu is says “Fresh”. Spring roll tasted old and we could not finish it. The Chicken Teriyaki with steamed rice plus the Egg omelette with tomato, shrimp and steamed rice which we ordered were sub par. Not sure how she keeps in business but I will not be back.More
