Many times the well located restaurants deliver great views but mediocre food. Half Moon Bay is an great exception - warm welcoming service, the beer menu is superb, the see food dishes - tuna and calamari - among the best and the burgers for our two teenagers went down with a smile. Enjoy.

We ordered fried calamari, clam chowder, cobb salad with lobster meat and fish and chips. Everything was delicious. Service was great and the craft beer wonderful. We sat inside by a bay window so we could enjoy the views of the sailboats outside.

This restaurant offered both indoor and patio dining. Good food friendly service and great bay view from patio. At 58 degrees the patio offers fire pits to warm up with. Definitely layer clothing bring a jacket and wear pants.

It was a dark and foggy night as we made our way south from San Francisco, Half Moon Bay our destination. Their website says they close at 8:30 so we were concerned about traffic and late arrival. Our party of three was seated within 10 minutes and the bar was still jumping when we left. An interesting beer and ale... More

My husband and I visited this restaurant for a late lunch. If your looking for polish, this is not it. Very casual atmosphere. We choose the rustic brick patio and enjoyed the view is the marina at Half Moon Bay. The patio was busy with people enjoying the view. It was a beautiful day. The employees were friendly. Our table,... More

Quick lunch stop on a beautiful sunny day. Ate outdoors which was perfect. Plenty of dogs sitting around to entertain us. Food was great. Fish and chips was an ample portion. Loved the deep fried artichokes! Will be back!

Stopped to stretch & grab a bite to eat. Crowded with friendly staff & good food. Burger was good, waitress nice & took care of everything I needed. This would be a great place if staying in the area.

Nothing better than beer battered artichoke hearts, even if you cant taste the artichoke, A food sized portion (enough for two) and a beer go just right.

We've had brunch at HMBBC several times and every time, we had our dogs with us. The staff have always been very accommodating and always super nice to make sure we are seated where most of the other dog owners are also dining in. Keep in mind not everyone likes dogs so it's important to keep your eyes on your... More

The four of us stopped here at around 6 p.m. on a Sunday and the restaurant was very crowded. But, we were seated within 10 minutes on the inside near a window. Our server was very knowledgeable about all the beer selections. We tried 5 different tastes. The taste is $2.00 and you can choose which ones you would like... More
