We didn't have a meal truly when we visited. We enjoyed it so much during a recent trip and stay in Half Moon Bay that when we came back a week later, we stopped again. Great patio to watch the ocean and relax in a open air environment. Our server (I think it was Jay) was great! and we let... More

Grilled salmon with asparagus and lobster Alfredo, all of which were extremely good. Setting outside at the fire pit with another couple celebrating their 4th anniversary. Highly recommended but you need reservations.

We ate inside for more of a fancy dining before took son to college. We watched sunset. Seafood was good. Pricey as expected. Outdoor dining more casual.

You can't get closer to the water than this! When it's sunny and warm, eat outside...when not, enjoy a window seat and watch the whales feeding just off shore. Thursday night specials are great...this place has loads of atmosphere, an old speak easy from the 20's! and a great piano player, live. plays all the greats.

We spent 4 days in Half Moon Bay celebrating our anniversary. We stopped at the Miramar Beach Restaurant for Lunch this past Saturday and enjoyed a great lunch with a great view... Will definitely stop here again on our next trip to Half Moon Bay...

I came here with a few friends and randomly chose this place, because a friend of ours came here years ago. The ambiance was all right, food was average, and as for its price, I didn't think it was that worth it. I had ordered the seafood fajita and the tortillas were plentiful but I felt the fish in my... The outdoor seating right on the water is fantastic. We ordered calamari, seafood chowder and I had fish and chips. The calamari was bland although the dipping sauce was pretty good. the seafood chowder was floury and there was next to no flavor. The fish and chips were average at best. Our waiter Jay was a great guy, shame to... More

You can't beat the view. Great casual outdoor lunch. Good fish tacos. The service was excellent. Salads were fresh, priced right

The Historic Miramar Beach Restaurant & Bar has a long and colorful history going back more than 70 years. It was originally designed and built as a Prohibition speakeasy to serve the liquor smuggled into the Bay Area through a drop off point on Miramar Beach. We have kept the historical ambiance and decor of the 1920s including an incomparable collection of photos from the era. With only a frontage road between us and the beautiful Pacific Ocean, we have the number one view and sunset on the Coast side.
