Right on the water!! We were told we could eat on the patio with our dog. There were 3 other tables with well behaved dogs. Had fish tacos and chowder, both very good. Waiter said paella is a favorite. We stopped for lunch on a Monday. No waiting. Patio is blocked from wind so nice and toasty with a view... More

Lovely restaurant overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The wait stall was very friendly and the service was good. We were a large group and they did a good job getting all the orders to us. The clam chowder is wonderful.

We sat on the deck after being told there are minimums for sitting in the dining hall. Not sure what that meant. We were offered the bar or the deck. The deck turned out to be delightful. Great service. Warm with fireplaces going strong. And we loved the dog energy on the deck.

An historic building that apparently played an interesting part in the prohibition era. Food was good, service was good and the atmosphere was just plain fun!

We've visited twice, once earlier in September for lunch, and recently for dinner. You can't beat the view. The dinner service and food especially were outstanding; we thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant, only steps from our hotel

We’ve eaten at Miramar many times. It’s always the same. Decent food served at a nice but unspectacular oceanside location. We’ll probably return. Oh well. Food: A wide menu of standard American fare features seafood. I’ve never been disappointed with a meal there (e.g. their fish and chips). As around the table and the typical response is “It’s good”. Occasionally... More

Visited during the standard happy hour - 5-7pm and enjoyed a clam chowder, garlic bread and ceaser salad, along with wine. Beautiful meal at a great price with wonderful atmosphere and views

We didn't have a meal truly when we visited. We enjoyed it so much during a recent trip and stay in Half Moon Bay that when we came back a week later, we stopped again. Great patio to watch the ocean and relax in a open air environment. Our server (I think it was Jay) was great! and we let... More

The Historic Miramar Beach Restaurant & Bar has a long and colorful history going back more than 70 years. It was originally designed and built as a Prohibition speakeasy to serve the liquor smuggled into the Bay Area through a drop off point on Miramar Beach. We have kept the historical ambiance and decor of the 1920s including an incomparable collection of photos from the era. With only a frontage road between us and the beautiful Pacific Ocean, we have the number one view and sunset on the Coast side.
