We stop at this place whenever we go to the coast. The fish and chips are the best Ive ever had, and the portions are good size. The clam chowder in a bread bowl is also very good. You can spend a lot more if you like, and there are a lot of different seafood choices.

This is a little restaurant right on the water with delicious fish n chips and the best corn fritters you've ever tasted. Our waitress was delightful and attentive. Glad we picked this little place during our trip down the west coast.

Cash only seafood. Go here for fresh anything. Good chowder, too. We eat here before drinking at any of the other places around. The typical 45 min wait on weekends is worth it.

Fish and Chips were okay., Fries nice and hot. Tartar sauce was really tasty. Unfortunately their clam chowder did not have many clams, and it tasted more like a celery soup. It was a disappointment. But the sourdough roll that the soup was in was absolutely fantastic...probably the best part of the meal.

The food was ok and service good. Not worth waiting more than five minutes for a table. Almost everything is deep fat fried. Nothing special unless you crave the deep fat fry. These restaurants are a dime a dozen up and down the coast.

This place is friendly. It is always packed. And the food is always fresh. Bring cash as no credit cards allowed. I always come here and am not disappointed. Sometimes my favorite dish is better than other times....but that's to be expected on packed days. The service is always friendly and you feel like you are family.

We love Barbara's fish trap. We love to get service from the window and find a spot to sit outside on the ocean. The crab sandwich is amazing. Fresh with minimal mayonnaise. The mini fishtrap tempura is a basket of heavenly fried cod, shrimp, scallops, calamari, zucchini and fries. Weekends and in the summer the outside window gets busy but... More

There is ALWAYS sand in the NE clam chowder! Every time I've had it--about five total over time-- my teeth grind on sand! It's pretty good otherwise. The fish is very fresh. It's a popular venue and has a take out line and outdoor paging system. Crowded at lunch and supper times.

Not sure I even knew Trip Advisor existed when I visited this restaurant with my late ex-husband back in 1997. But I can tell you that the one thing I remember is that the food was to die for, it was truly the best ever. That was the night I tried calamari for the first time in my life and... More
