While my boyfriend enjoyed his steak, and my salmon was quite good, we both agree that the best move would have been to just order multiples of the lamb chop appetizer. While it comes with just a few of the small chops, they were cooked...More
This is an idyllic location, literally deep in the woods, which is its main attraction, remote and quiet. But the downside is that being so far away from "civilization," it's expensive to truck in supplies (so you'll see that reflected in the menu prices). Likewise,...More
The staff is friendly and try to please. Service is very good but may be slow at peak times . The food is well prepared, portions are enough for almost anyone, there is a good selection , the menu stays the same day to day...More
During our stay at the beautiful Evergreen Lodge, we decided to have dinner at the restaurant in the lodge. I had the Bison Burger and it was literally the best burger I believe I've ever had. That burger is just another great reason I want...More

We ate dinner here after hiking in the Hetch-Hetchy region of Yosemite. It is the only restaurant for miles, so I guess beggars can't be choosers. The atmosphere is nice. But the service was slow, the prices were high, and food was pretty mediocre...at least...More
We ate dinner and breakfast on different days. Food was great and the prices were very reasonable. The selections were very impressive. The wait staff were excellent and very knowledgeable about the area.

We were there in October but did not make reservations until we were in Yosemite . We stayed at the sister lodge Rush Creek Lodge . The food was good there too. Be prepared for a long trip into the woods to get to Evergreen. It's rather fun about 4 miles windy road.. The Evergreen Lodge is "rustic" we were glad we stayed at the Rush Creek. We had a very lovely dinner and the food was good. I would make reservations just to make sure you get in if you are not staying there. There were a lot of people staying at the Lodge. Hope this helps. Happy Travels.
