Travelled thru Groveland dozens of times and saw no reason before to stop for food. Wow, was I missing something great! Extremely tasty, authentic home made, helpful staff, hearty portions, and deep menu with both standard and unique offerings. I had chicken mole poblano and thought I was in heaven. My wife had chicken tostados filed with fresh ingredients, not... More

Very good food. Ate to much! Staff very friendly, and fast service. Had the pollo sope (chicken and masa with refried beans and lettuce) yummy.

My 37 years in Houston makes it hard to find Mexican food in California that compares but for me this is good, solid Mexican fare that you would find in most of the local small eateries in Houston or San Antonio. Clean and neat, its not fancy but unless your a snob you will find this place comfortably authentic in... More

Unimposing from the street, I wasn't sure whether to keep going and look for somewhere else, but boy I was glad I stopped here! I got my fix of a fajita salad and it was fantastic food. so many great flavours and a really generous helping. The staff were very friendly, although service was a little on the slow side... More

There is only one other stop to eat before you get to Yosemite. I would suggest stopping in Groveland if you have gotten this far. Because this place is on the way to Yosemite, I would have expected something more. Seems to be more of a local hangout. The food was good but nothing special. Service was good. I wouldn't... More

We saw the restaurant on our way into the Yosemite area and decided to make it our lunch when we were leaving. From the outside we were uncertain what to expect. The service was very good. Food was extremely good, portions were large and I managed to find the room.

We enjoyed nontraditional foods with appropriately sized portions. Great service. Good wait staff, and short wait to be seated.

Very small restaurant, but the food is very good. Very quick and efficient, friendly service. The usual Mexican beers available. The menu is huge. There are a very large number of plate combinations, and an a la Carte section. We felt the cheese enchiladas, guacamole tostadas, and the salsa were excellent. No reservations about going back. Well worth it!
