There is only one other stop to eat before you get to Yosemite. I would suggest stopping in Groveland if you have gotten this far. Because this place is on the way to Yosemite, I would have expected something more. Seems to be more of a local hangout. The food was good but nothing special. Service was good. I wouldn't... More

We saw the restaurant on our way into the Yosemite area and decided to make it our lunch when we were leaving. From the outside we were uncertain what to expect. The service was very good. Food was extremely good, portions were large and I managed to find the room.

We enjoyed nontraditional foods with appropriately sized portions. Great service. Good wait staff, and short wait to be seated.

Very small restaurant, but the food is very good. Very quick and efficient, friendly service. The usual Mexican beers available. The menu is huge. There are a very large number of plate combinations, and an a la Carte section. We felt the cheese enchiladas, guacamole tostadas, and the salsa were excellent. No reservations about going back. Well worth it!

The people at our hotel recommended the food here, so we gave it a try. It was a very small place, but served really good food. My fajitas were especially good and my husband enjoyed his burrito. The salsa deserves a special mention. Staff was exceptionally friendly and provided good service, even though the place was extremely busy.

Beware! Beware! They overcharged my credit card by 45%. The tip was left in cash on the table and THE RESTAURANT added a tip to the final credit card bill! When I personally approached them to get my money back they admitted lots of other people contacted them about overcharges on their credit cards! They said it is a book... More

They have a separate Vegetarian Section in Menu- Their best item is TOFU LA Mexicana....Its basically a serving of rice beans lettuce grilled veggies and tofu in a pool of delicious salsa sauce....Yummyy!! I haven't had Mexican plate like this before...It was different and delicious....We were very happy to find satisfying food in middle of nowhere. On a side note,... More

We have been enjoying Mexican food during our visit to California, and decided to visit this restaurant based upon the local reviews. We had to wait 5 minutes or so for a table (on a Saturday night), but the service was pleasant and fast. The food was really good and tasty, and very reasonably priced. Recommended.
