We stopped here for breakfast on our way out of Yosemite. The food was very good but the place was really run down. Our booth seats were torn and bumpy so they were very uncomfortable. The staff were friendly but not very efficient. We had pancakes but didn't get syrup. Since no one checked on us, we saw some on... More

Buck Meadows is an amazing restaurant and bar. The food is exactly what you wish for if you are hungry as it fills you up. All the waiters are extremely kind and helpful and great to have a laugh with. The food comes at a reasonable speed and is delicious. Must dine here if you pass by or are staying... More

Your basic American diner food - mostly as a place to grab breakfast if staying at the next-door motel. For dinner, I'd recommend going down the hill to Groveland for more options

Like going to the K&W without the line. The service was great and you do have a wait (or we did) but they have nice chairs o the porch to relax in. Food was bland and quantity were on the small side. It was close to your B&B so after a long day of hiking it works.

We had awful food and awful service after our wonderful journey in Yosemite. It's amazing how they think they can treat their guests like this, but hey, they probably do it because they can. Stay away, don't give them your money. Buy pretzels instead, much cheaper, tastier and best of all; no disrespectful waitresses.

We never experienced a visit to a restaurant which was as bad as eating at Buck Meadows. Especially avoid Audrey, a poor excuse for a waitress. She never heard of the word service. Indescribable rude and uninterested. On top of this, the food was bad, bad, bad. The worst pastrami sandwich ever. AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN !!!

Stopped for dinner with a friend on our return from a day of hiking in Yosemite. He was not feeling too good so only had a sandwich; thus I ordered a light dinner of a grilled chicken breast which came with mashed potatoes and veggie. Though not gourmet, it was an adequate and well prepared meal. I heard they have... More

Beware when you order - may want to share. It is very good, but enormous. We had a pleasant stop and would recommend if you pass by.

Visited here three times whilst staying down the road at Riverside Inn! Staff very nice and attentive, especially our server Amy! She was great. Highly recommend the onion rings - the best ever! Really good price for food !!
