A grocery store come cafe. Stocked with all sorts of stuff including locally produced honey and jam. We stopped for a sandwich and salad. Generous helpings and tasty food.

What a wonderful stop this is on the way to Yosemite. Located right on the main highway, it is a convenient place to grab a snack and stretch. We opted to try their pastries as well as a breakfast wrap. Their pastries are really good; fresh and sweet. The breakfast wrap hit the spot; prepared fresh, it had lots of... More

We stopped for breakfast here on the way to Hetch Hetchy. The service staff was great. We ordered the breakfast bagel, breakfast wrap, veggie quinoa wrap, banana bread, cinnamon roll, iced tea, and dirty chai. None disappointed and all were served promptly. The adjoining shop was also fun to poke around in, and I was able to buy the tea... More

Had afternoon tea and the food was delicious! The peppermint patty tea was amazing!!! The tea for 2 was a very good deal and was plenty of food. Best strawberry shortcake ever!

My family and I had breakfast this morning here and the food was wonderful. My sister orderd the breakfast wrap and I had the biscuits and gravy. Both were amazing. The staff were all super sweet and very accommodating when we showed up early for our reservation

I'm rating the lunch you can order at the counter, not the food in the tea room, where they have a different menu. The sandwiches are very tasty and with special ingredients. The bread could be better though (or at least toasted). The variety of salad dressings is also remarkable, but some are too sweet. All tables were taken when... More

Stopped at Groveland to have a cup of coffee. Cozy place with real Tea Room, home made gelato, excellent coffee. Sandwiches, biscotti, and other snacks looked good. Definitely, will stop there again on my next trip to Yosemite NP.

Delightful little coffee shop, in a quaint town. Staff very friendly and helpful. Has a small gift shop with many different teas to purchase.

Cute place and dog friendly. We had 4 dogs and each got a fresh baked dog biscuit. Across from the Iron Door Saloon.

Description
We invite you to step back in time to enjoy the charming atmosphere of this historical site and to partake in the English tradition of taking tea. Dori's Tea Cottage opened in May 2008 to continue this fine tea tradition and to expand on Dori's life-long love of tea. In 2012, Dori's expanded into the adjacent space that is now Dori's Cafe, which was Groveland's former U.S. Post Office. The Cafe features espresso, gelato, smoothies, fresh brewed iced teas, sandwiches, wraps, quiche, soup, salad and a variety of bakery items. We hope you enjoy your visit - whether you enjoy a quick breakfast, join us for our English tea luncheon, or "Build a Picnic" for your trip to Yosemite.
