Really tasty pasties for a quick lunch stop before heading to the Empire Mine. We tried both beef and spinach versions - both very good. Wished we could have returned for the Cornish Cream Tea!

We stopped in for a deluxe veggie pastie after some wine tasting today. It was excellent. We also picked up some treats for our dogs. We will be stopping by again to get some more for the freezer. These are yummy. Plus the guy who...More
Not the pasties that are like the ones I had in England or BC Canada. My English grandmother made them for our family and also homemade fish and chips. She would roll over in her grave knowing this place was serving such awful pasties and...More
We stopped for one of these (my hubby and I shared) and the crust was incredible. It was a spinach mushroom pasty and was really good. First one I'd ever eaten.
Pasties were made daily for the trek down into the mine, a crepe wrapped around beef, pork, chicken, with veggies and potatoes with a special sauce, yumm. make sure to ask for their special vinegar
We love to pick these up instead of fast food. Very well made, healthier alternative. Two generous sizes to choose from- jack and jenny. The jack is enough for dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow. Filling comfort food!
Cousin Jack's used to have very good food. The last two times the pasties were awful. They are bland and mushy.

Restaurant was clean and inviting. Pastie was delicious and so was my rhubarb pie! Great crusts on both! Bathroom, while clean, could use a little updating, like paint and linoleum.
