Had lunch at this establishment. They majority of menu items based on ingredients seem to have a kick of heat to the dishes. They will make changes to accommodate those who can't eat spiced up foods. The burger I had was very good and I would eat there again. My fellow companion's had something other than a burger. I forget... More

We're very sorry to report that our last visit with another couple was very exasperating when it comes to good service. Our waitress was bubbly, blonde curly hair and totally unattentive. We had to take our coffee cups to the bar twice in order to get refills. One of the meals was served cold, as if it had been sitting... More

Creative menu with healthy ingredients. Can be noisy at peak times. Ample non-metered parking across the street. Easy access to downtown.

Great service, friendly staff, house made condiments. A legit spot for breakfast, a favorite in my crowd. The whole family loves it. There might be a wait, get there early. They turn tables fast, but every local knows this is the best place to eat breakfast, so if you're from out of town and you see a line, it is... More

I have been going to South Pine for 20 years. Originally, there was only the Nevada City South Pine, which I have always loved. This one is just the same. Great owners. Great food. Awesome staff. It gets pretty busy, but it's worth the wait. I've had times where it was so busy, and yet our waiter was totally cool,... More

We were visiting Grass Valley and were in a shop. The salesperson told us that if we wanted good food to go to The South Pine Cafe. It is located a block away from Main Street and sure is worth finding. We all had their Garlic and Onion Hamburger, which was delicious. Their whole menu was appetizing and it was... More

Good service with many options for breakfast. The scrambled plates and burritos were a hit with the family. We visited on a Sunday after church. It was busy but we were quickly seated and we had a party of 8 ! We would definitely go again.

Wonderful American food. Homemade muffins, etc.....I buy their homemade jam to take home. The only thing is sometimes there is a long wait. Tables no booths. Thet do have a counter you can sit at. Friendly staff. Best in town!
