Its a bit hard to review the Ming because it is several different restaurants depending on what you order. We have been coming here for years from time to time and its the only Chinese restaurant in town that we keep returning to. Over the years we have had some terrible and some wonderful meals as well as mostly good.... More

A friend of ours drove us (about 8 miles from Santa Barbara downtown)to this restaurant and was so good we return for a second visit. Try the Oyster Beef and Chicken Orange peal. Well worth the extra travel. Recommend!!!!Reasonably priced>

We went there based on friends' recommendation. Also we got a potstickers appetizer ($10 value) free with our AXXESS card. We had meigugaipan chcicken, Szechuan pork, and fried rice. All tasted very fresh and flavorful.

The all you can eat buffet is full of variety, but I love the build your own bowl/ Mongolian BBQ. For cocktail lovers, this place is perhaps one of the stiffest pours in Goleta. Know for their Mai Tai, this house speciality drink isn't too sweet and packs a huge punch (sure, pun intended). A little expensive for kids as... More

Do not waste your time or money! Ming Dynasty has poor food quality, high prices and a very small selection at their over-priced buffet!

I'm not sure what happened. This place used to be really good. We ate there tonight and let's just on believably horrible. Their potstickers are like shoe leather. General Tsao is turning over in his grave. This was my last visit to Ming Dynasty.

I had given up on finding decent Chinese food in Santa Barbara until I found this hidden gem. Excellent Mongolian BBQ, tiny but decent buffet, and the service is usually very good (usually, not always). Off the menu orders and drinks are also good. We've been there on weekends when we're the only non-Asians, which is a pretty good sign... More

Had noticed this restaurant on several previous visits to the Santa Barbara area. Decided to give it a try this time. We were greeted by friendly staff at the door and promptly seated. We chose to do the buffet rather than ordering from the menu. There was a plentiful selection to choose from. One feature of the buffet is a... More

A group of friends had dinner at the Ming Dynasty and we choose plates from the "Secret Menu". Everything was delicious! Seven dishes to share, good portions and good service. For sure we will come back!

Good Chinese food in Goleta. The service is also good. The food served is also good. I loved this place. I went here for lunch and it was a great experience.
