I go there every week because it is my favorite restaurant. The food is delicious, especially eggs benedict, which has always been my favorite dish. The service is great and everyone is always really friendly. There will be a line on the weekends but you won't be waiting long for small group of people.

It was crowded for breakfast and that's always a good sign. Definitely worth the wait. They have outdoor and indoor seating. Staff is friendly and attentive. Menu choices were plentiful and hard to choose from. Compliments to the chef! We had beignets which were out of this world. The jambalaya was yummy too - it was very flavorful. Going back... More

This is not a place for the faint of heart. You get good, solid food and some Cajun spice if you want it. The food is excellent and the service is friendly and good.

This place is becoming a staple on my visits out. Love the food but the only reason the slightly lower rating was the service. This visit was just not personal and a little slow. I get that places are busy, which is good, but treat you customers with a smile and NOT like you are in too big of a... More

Have been for lunch several times, always good ol' Cajun comfort food in generous portions. If your dish comes with a biscuit (which are huge by the way) they even bring a small tub of apple butter. Don't know where else in this part of the world apple butter is served, but it's a nice touch for a southerner like... More

This is the place for good, spicy file gumbo, it has never disappointed. Comes with cornbread or a biscuit. Quite close to a homemade southern style and the menu does have many choices. Not a bad beignet as well, and you can even get fried po'boys. Generous portions and great prices. Always busy, and rightfully so, a good staple place for... More

I had steak and eggs. My wife had an omelet and grits. My hash browns were soaked in grease and in-editable. My wife's grits were over cooked to the point of being gluey. My steak and eggs were excellent as was the inlet. A very busy place and all of the staff were working their tails off. No time to... More

This is a very popular breakfast spot for good reason. We had about a 15 minute wait on Saturday. Heaters ensured a warm seating outside. The menu is loaded with options for all tastes. We tried several options and all were pleased. I really liked the hot Louisiana sausage with my over easy eggs, hash browns and English muffin. Am... More

We asked our hotel front desk for a breakfast recommendation. They suggested the Cajun Kitchen. Boy were they right! Breakfast was so good, we went back for another the next day. Healthy portions, good food, and friendly staff. Highly recommend if you are staying in the Goleta area that you stop by Cajun Kitchen for a great breakfast.
