Roberto and his family runs the place. Great home style Mexican food. we have been going regularly for over 18 years. Great salsa. ask for the green salsa if you like hot salsa.

Majority of the food needs more flavor,.. aside from that... Maybe t.v. for evening crowd. The bar area will be prefect.

We enjoyed the fajitas and fajita burrito. They were both excellent. The restaurant itself was dated and looking old including the rest rooms. Our waitress was very helpful and nice.

Basic Mexican food a fair price. What you would expect from a restaurant that caters to a clientele that likes Mexican food for a non Mexican food expert. Service is quick and many of the dishes come with beans and rice. The usual tacos, burritos, enchiladas and quesadillas served with, of course beans and rice. Steak and more adventurous Mexican... I always assume that I can get the best Mexican food when I travel to Southern California. Sometimes that is true, but not this time. Just an average meal with manteca in the beans and dried out rice. The tortillas (corn) were homemade and the best part of the meal. Everything was swimming in lots of sauce. And did I... More

I was sure that they were closed, but I tried the door and they really were open. I was not impressed about the inside either, but I'm not there to look, just looking for great food - and I found it. Not only was it authentic, but the aromas from the kitchen made it feel good being there.

I was very excited when they moved to the new location, since the old location was pretty small, but had a great patio. The new location was a themed restaurant, that did not match the menu, but it was OK. Unfortunately, they have pretty much ruined the atmosphere, by installing bright bluish neon strips. This could have been the nice... More

My son's in-laws are Hispanic and it's the only Mexican restaurant in the east San Gabriel Valley that they like to dine at. They also do a lot of catering and food to-go. Robert makes the best shrimp ceviche I've ever had.

Sergio's was so busy, they had to move one block east of their location to a larger location. It helped a little but there is still a waiting time to get seated. The food is good for the price. Their burritos and salsa are very good.

We first tried Sergio's when they first moved to the larger site. We were disappointed with the quality of the food and one of the items we wanted on the menu, they did not have. So we continued to drive by every day for almost 2 years until this past weekend, we decided to try it again but this time... More
