I try to eat at the Hat as much as possible. I love their pastrami sandwiches and their beef dip. Both are excellent sandwiches. You get lots of food there as well. If you get their chili cheese fries with pastrami on top, make sure you share that because it is more than a full meal. A great place to... More

This is a fast food stop you will love, they're fast and good, in fact you'll get more fries and onion rings than you can eat so be sure to share. The restaurant is the cleanest and the staff really hustles. The only thing for me is it can be a bit salty every once in a while... still yummy!... More

I was in the area for business and several locals told me I had to go the The Hat and get a sandwich. I opted for the "world famous pastrami dip." I figured if they called it world famous and featured it in their branding, it must be one of the better items on the menu. It did not disappoint... More

Could not resist stopping here after a drive up in the canyon. Good choice. I had the pastrami dip. A huge hot pastrami sandwich on a fresh roll. Ordered the "small" fries for $2.99. Never seen anything that big. Thought it was a mistake. The counter girls got a good chuckle. I imagine they get that a lot. Fries were... More

I LOVE The Hat!!! I think the food is delicious but it is definitely a little pricey... I would suggest, splitting a sandwich and an order of their DELICIOUS chili cheese fries... (My last order cost about $15.50-without a drink). There is enough between both orders, to feed two people. Anything on the menu is a good choice. I usually... More

If you are visiting this area, The Hat is a stop that you will want to make. My son just transferred to college here and his roommate from L.A. told him that The Hat was unbelievable...we drove by it today on the way to Chik fill A and decided to pull in and eat lunch. You will not regret it.... More

Delicious Dipped Pastrami and Roast Beef Sandwiches! Plenty of meat. Worth the extra price. This time, I bought the Pastrami sandwich with small fries and large soda. It cost almost $16, but was more than enough to eat. It IS a little pricy, but at this place, you do get what you pay for. You pay a little more and... More

While traveling in the Glendora area my girlfriend and I stopped at the hat to have lunch. The restaurant is clean, the service is excellent, and the food was great. Try their famous pastrami sandwiches. They also have great french fries and LOTS of 'em for you.

Been going to The Hat for years. Started out in Alhambra, CA over forty years ago and now go to the Glendora, CA establishment. Great roast beef and pastrami sandwiches and the wet fries with beef gravy are to die for. The fries will easily feed two people.

Is there such a thing as too much food? My first visit many years ago, I ordered a pastrami sandwich and an order of chili-cheese fries. It was all I could do to finish it, but being brought up to not waste food, I did it. After being away from the area for 15 years, I had to visit again,... More
