As an individual family AND having an office near this location, we have been ordering from them for years for our office employees and our family. We have tolerated the lousy/non-friendly/arrogant attitude of the women employees - especially the tall one; but their recent menu...change (dropping the quantity of meat in the combo meal to HALF of what it was, combined with the straight out lies from the counter have broken our relationship). We went in at our designated time to pick up our order; it was a bit crowded. We were told "you are next" and then saw at least 30 people come and go before we got our meal. After a lengthy period of time waiting, we were told 5 minutes! After another 15 minutes and hearing them tell others “They were next" and that it would be "5 minutes"; we finally received my order after asking again and again! I told the staff the long wait it insane/understandable; but what was most offensive - is that they kept lying - telling me and others - you are next - or it will be 5 minutes - WHEN THEY KNEW IT WASN'T TRUE!! I asked them to simply stop lying to people; we understand lines/waiting - we DON’T UNDERSTAND OR APPRECIATE INTENDED LYING! Then, on our way home we discovered that the meat quantity had been cut in half! Thus, after a 45' wait AFTER our scheduled pickup time. So, after all that time waiting, ½ of us couldn’t even eat our lunch!!! Get more grills, get more “nice/honest” employees or something! Tell the truth. I am a clergyman and have been told that this is a Christian business; they should not be behaving like this… It's sad - because their food is great!More

I have ordered a large amount of baklava to be delivered to my son at school in LA for his birthday, two years in a row. The customer service is absolutely the best, and my son and his friends rave about the baklava. I'll do...it again next year, and for other occasions also. Love this place!!!More

Dropped in for kabobs to go. Ordered a combination plate of chicken and beef kabobs. Chicken was great with nice flavor and not dried out. Beef was tender too. Overall a good meal.

I cannot comment on dining at their location, but I’ve ordered from here several times and I will continue to do so. Everything down to the simple rice is delicious. The vegetables in the shirazi salad are always fresh and crisp and the chicken breast...kebab is always juicy and tender. And I love their pita bread as well! Their garlic sauce is terrific. They give you a ton of food for the money, which is an added bonus!More

My experience with the Original Kabab Factory was an unusual one. Especially since I give it a five star rating, when in fact, my first experience with them was less than stellar. Let me explain. I had a big hankering for grilled meat. And I...couldn’t decide between a good ‘ol steak, or ribs, or maybe even the marinated goodness of Kabab’s. But then I found this place. It was perfect. They delivered, and had everything I desired. Now the Original Kabab Factory is not a traditional restaurant. It is more like a great butcher shop with large butcher-shop refrigerated display cases filled with marinating meats and salads. You pick what you want, and they grill it all to order. There are a few tables to sit there, but the sense really is a place best for take-out and delivery. But somehow for things like Kababs, this seems so much more like what you’d find in the homeland of these cooks in the Middle East. So many kababs shops there have the exact same set-up. It’s situated in one of the largest Middle Eastern populated areas of Los Angeles: Glendale. And these are folks that are passionate about their food. You truly cannot survive here very long unless you are server the “real thing”. And the Original Kabab Factory is as authentic as they come. What made my own experience “unusual” is that when my food arrived, I found that the rib eye steak, which I had ordered “medium rare”, was, expect for a quick “sear” on each side… actually raw. I do not mean rare. I mean raw. What made this more frustrating, was that everything else I had ordered, was delicious. The ribs and the chicken kababs was perfectly cooks and seasoned. And they all came with copious amounts of grilled jalapeno peppers, onions and tomatoes, plus several delicious sauces. Of course I immediately called the restaurant about my raw steak, and with major apologies, and a genuine concern for my satisfaction, they told me that they would, of course, refund my steak dinner. Within moments I received confirmation of the refund in my e-mail. Of course I didn’t throw the steak out, but instead simply put it in a skillet to cook it right. And once cooked, it was delicious. The quality of the meat, as with everything else I had, was excellent. Being more of a butcher shop than a traditional restaurant, there’s a lot of mix-grilled“. And lots of combo plates. Most things are sold by the pound, and as I discovered with the ribs and chicken that I ordered, a pound goes a long way. These are not skimpy portions. These are feasts. Their marinated meats have several types of louleh chicken (including thigh and breast meat as well as minced), beef, and lamb, plus marinated vegetarian grill selections. They also make many other Middle Easter dishes, such as stuffed grape leaves, rice pilaf, Ajika, Tutou, Mutabel, Tzatziki, Tabouleh, Eggplant and Shirazi Salads, Anoush Salsa, and hummus. All homemade. Everything comes with fresh grilled onions and tomatoes and peppers. They also have lots of sauces, and fresh baked Lavash to sop it all up. Their prices are very reasonable, especially considering the portions they give you. They also do catering, for all size events. Again, although there are some tables to enjoy your meal, this really is the perfect place to pick up a grand meal for a backyard party, a home or office holiday or celebration, Super Bowl-type bash, a picnic, a road trip, the beach, or the Hollywood Bowl. This kind of food is perfect to be laid out on a blanket, and eaten with your fingers. And it travels well. Virtually all the new Internet delivery companies, such as Seamless, eat24.com, and grubhub.com service them. Actually I’ve discovered that ordering in advance over the phone, or having it delivered is even more convenient than eating there. Yes, the food is good, prices excellent, and the folks here really care. Check it out!More

I found this place when my family had season passes to the LA Zoo and to this day, if I'm in the area, I always stop by. This place is unique in that u buy the meats in a butcher format pre-marinated allowing you to...take home and cook if you like. But they will cook it too and add sides as a combo plate for 3 dollars more. I normally go with the latter. I've pretty much had all the meats here (including quail, which they didn't sell when I visted today). But my favorites are the chicken thighs, pork shish and the ground beef louleh (like a kafta). And as an added bonus, the bakery next door sells amazing meat boreks too!More

Looking for a place to eat while waiting for a business meeting and spotted this place. Parking is around back along with many tables and chairs to sit at and eat. There were also a couple tables set up in front. No seats inside; outdoor...seating only. Ordered 2 kabob's - one ground beef and one ground chicken. Came with delicious side of brown rice and roasted pepper, tomato and sliced onions and Very thin soft pita type bread. It was a huge portion of food and could barely finish. Also provided us with several sauces from mild to spicy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back again!!More

It is NOT a sit down restaurant. It is a take out spot. Only 2 tables outside the store on the side walk. The Service: Very pushy! Trying to sell combo or higher price food on the menu. The Food: Beef Louleh Wrap - Either...the lavash is way too big or the stuffing is way too little. First few bites... too much lavash, not a lot of meat inside the wrap. Little bit rice too. Not too flavorful. Hummus - On the second day trying their hummus, it tastes weird already. A little bit too sour and the texture is different looking too. There is no manufacture date or expiration date on the container. Not sure how long this hummus been sitting in their store. The Parking: Parking structure behind the store. Only a few spots for 20 minutes parking.More
