We had breakfast here today and ordered egg/cheese croissants. WOW, they were huge! Only $4.15, we should have shared one! They were very good, except next time I will ask for them to hold the mustard. I wasn't expecting that! Good, reasonable priced breakfast place if you have time to wait in the line. It's a very popular place and... More

Other than the pastries, try their rice meals. The best lunch meal we had here. The black beans taste delicious and well seasoned( not the usual black bean taste). We tried the "lechon" pork, chicken and steak. All 3 were delicious!

I come here when I get a craving for a Cubano or white chocolate raspberry cheesecake. Parking is usually a pain but we'll worth it to come during off hours (not 12pm)

True, you may not want to be doing Atkins when you stop by, but if you work out or burn calories on a regular basis, this place is satisfaction jackson. Potato balls and croquettes are nice but the cookies and other assortment of baked and non-baked items is pretty top notch.

On a trip to Disneyland this month I made an effort to get some Porto's pastries to take home. I remember going on a family vacation a few years ago and receiving multiple yellow boxes from a cousin whom we were only able to visit with for just a short hour. When we returned home and tried these little flaky,... More

Their pastries and cakes are out of this world. Their sandwiches are extremely good and inexpensive. Their potato balls are very good. If your having a bash order their platter of sandwiches. In other words this Porto's is great.

I am not into the sandwiches so much, but the few that I have tested are good, on the other hand if you are into cakes and desserts this place has the best most delicious cakes and bocadillos in southern California, I have friends coming down from neighboring San Diego very often just to pack up on some sweets from... Food is fantastic! Always super crowded though. But I guess that's a sure sign of great food! Pastries are my favorite and they make great personalized party cakes!
