Stopped in for a quick bite before wine tasting. Just had chicken wings and fries, wings were great- saucy and spicy. Beautiful patio in the back, fun waitress! Look forward to going back for dinner.

Two friends were from out of town and had never visited Glen Ellen Inn. Two of us were local and visited in the past. They were impressed with the martini menu and with the fresh oyster selection. I always love their mussels and frites. Everything...we ate was delicious and well presented. Service was perfect as always and so were the cheese biscuits. I will never hesitate to recommend the Glenn Ellen Inn.More

This is the place where we first tasted oyster rockefeller, some years back and oyster rockefeller is what we always have when we come back, that and a lot of other tasty food. This is a very welcoming and friendly restaurant and it is a...joy coming back every time. I guess that is why we do come back and also bring our travellers with us =)More

Cute little town and this place was neat. We liked the vibe in the dining room where we could watch the activity on the street outside. Food was decent and moderately priced for the area. Good cocktails too.

Quaint and friendly but menu and food were very pedestrian. Beet salad had about 3 bite size pieces of beets and ice berg lettuce. I don’t remember the last time I wasted my fresh California salad time in iceberg lettuce! Also we asked the waitress...for input on the 6 pages of Cabs on the wine menu and all she could offer was “they are all good”.More

This was our fifth time eating at the Glen Ellen Inn. We had martinis (which were excellent) instead of wine as we were somewhat "wined" out from tasting during the day. The oysters this evening were disappointing but we have had them on other occasions...and they were excellent. The main courses were very good and service was excellent as usual.More

We stayed in Glen Ellen for a 5 day visit. We celebrated our 25th wedding Anniversary at the Glen Ellen Inn. From the moment we entered we were pleased, the atmosphere is cozy, beautiful and historic. They treated us like king and queen, welcoming, friendly...and exceptional service!! We liked it so much we returned for our last night there!! From the martini’s to the desserts everything was phenomenal!! They treated us both nights with special treats for our celebration!! We highly recommend this fine restaurantMore

This place is charming and beautiful with beautiful outside lighting in the evening. The staff is very friendly and the martini and wine menus are expansive. We had a lovely evening complete with ice cold martinis. The scones and butter were delicious. We shared the...fried goat cheese appetizer which was very filling and rich. Then we shared the Lil' Gem Wedge salad which was fabulous and the special of the day which was a Ravioli. We were full and satisfied after sharing an appetizer, salad and entree. Nice portions and reasonably priced. Oh and the cottages look adorable - there are only 7 of them and they book fast but I would love to come back and stay there!More

After reading the reviews, I was excited to try this restaurant that was rated so high. I was very disappointed. The wine was new to the menu, and after several sips, I left the remainder of the glass. The food portions were small, the selection...varied. The dishes we chose, including the special were ok. The service was good. I expected so much more, and my experience was discouraging.More
