We had the opportunity to dine here and found it wonderful. Ribeye was cooked to perfection, the deep-fried bacon in maple syrup was very tasty, the garlic mashed potatoes were yummy, and the wine list superb (we had a great Caymus cab). Jimmy was a wonderful server, and there was even live jazz music in the bar. Give it a... More

Food was just mediocre. Service was a little slow. My husband had a tuna melt, had a hard time finding the melt. Fries were semi warm. I had blackened prime rib. Definitely the high point of my meal was the fresh sliced tomatoes. Definitely would not come back again.

The hamburgers were great-teenagers loved them. The homemade fries were great(and we now fries), but the homemade ketchup was refreshing! Grilled Salmon was wonderful and the Chicken Marsala and Cod was wonderfully done! The atmosphere was inviting and the staff were on top of it the entire time! We tried one of every desert and they all satisfied but the... More

The food is top notch, My wife loves the hot brussel sprout salad, great bar, live music in the evenings. My only caveat is that the acoustics of the rooms makes for a loud restaurant (it is popular)

Dinner on an overnight stay in Gilroy, had read the reviews, and checked out menu. Food was excellent and as previous reviews-service was not all that good. Waiter was nice enough we just didn't see him all that much during dinner. It wasn't that busy so not sure what the issue was. Might try another restaurant next time.

Disappointed at the experience we had here recently. I had great expectations of this place based on the reviews, and I wanted to like this place a lot as the people here are nice. But, alas, not to be as the food (& method of service) here is so-so, maybe 2 star for our dinner. We had rack of lamb... More

I have been here many times and it is usually good. However I took my father here for his birthday and was extremely disappointed. Long story short at 6 pm on a Wednesday they had already ran out of baked potatoes (how do you run out of the cheapest and easiest available item?!) and had one slice of prime rib... More

We arrived at 8:15, sat at the bar and ordered 3 sides of lamb racks and french fries. It was delicious! There was a vocalist playing the guitar, which was a bit too loud, but after a couple of songs it was time for his break so the atmosphere was a bit more intimate.

I had blackened Ahi & my wife had the Prime Rib. Both were well prepared and generous-sized servings, but were served lukewarm on cold plates. The music was pleasant, but the acoustics in this re-purposed old building affected the sound and limited conversation. The waitress was very friendly & pleasant and was the best part of the evening.
