This visit was July 27th. We had a group of 12 people, on 3 tables grouped together, for dinner. Usually when have gone, as a couple, they give a complementary bowl of edamame per table. We were only given 2 bowls for 12 people/3 tables. We had to order another bowl which never was delivered. All but one person ordered... More

Thank you for alerting us to this situation. While we are happy to hear you enjoyed the food, we're disappointed we dropped the ball on service that day. Please accept our sincere apology and allow us the chance to impress you again in the future - with both food and service! More

We've been to Sushi Omakase several times. Even though they are almost always busy, seating has been efficient, and service has been fast and friendly. Only once did we wait over 30 minutes for our food, and that was primarily due to one of the chefs calling in sick that day. They have an astonishing assortment of rolls, nigiri, noodles,... More

Cruising thru yhe strip mall out jumps Sushi Omakase! Pleasantly surprised by the super nice waiters but the Food was delicious and presented as it should be. We had the Lobster Bisque and the Red Dragon and they were super. We live in a large city and wish we could get sushi there. And here it is in little ol... More

I have been here dozens of times now and I have yet to have a bad experience. The food is always amazing, even though when I try new stuff I don't always like it, but that is just me as I can be picky in some things, but there is always someone with me that digs those things that I... More

The chefs have taken traditional Japanese sushi and given some of it a California twist. The specialty of the house is fresh chopped wasabi, this is delightful in flavor, but unpredictable in heat. My favorite is the surf and turf roll, shrimp tempura roll slathered in kobe beef and topped with lots of fresh chopped wasabi.

I found this restaurant to be substandard in terms of other Japanese restaurants that I have been to. It is small and noisy, more for the bar type crowd. The food was just so so, nothing special. I have not returned since my first visit.

Fresh edamame were brought to the table immediately. They were warm and salted to perfection. The bento box included spicy tuna but with no recognizable heat. The shrimp tempura was lightly fried and the fish fresh.

Thanks for visiting the restaurant recently and providing us with your feedback. I’m glad you were happy with the service and equally as happy with the quality of the edamame – it’s one of our most popular dishes! We would love to know how we could have improved the rest of your experience, though. Hope you’ll come back in soon... More

We have eaten here many times and have never been served a bad meal. This time was no exception. Some very unique and flavor rolls, excellent selection of sake, and very fresh fish make for a great Sushi experience. The price is medium high for sushi, but a good value for the quality. The Charlie Sheen roll was fantastic.

Stopped here before heading to Southern Cal for the New Year.... At 7PM, there was a very short wait before we were shown to our table. The restaurant is clean and seemed pretty busy with several TVs showing sports. The menu includes standard/hand rolls and specialty rolls, tempura and udon, salads, oysters and shooters and bento boxes. The Dragon Roll... More

This is a pretty good Sushi place. Definitely the best in Gilroy. Sushi is fresh and there is always an interesting combination to try. The garlic edamame is great!
