Line was out the door. Perhaps because it was prime time for dinner on a Friday night. The locals must know the secret or they just have a habit of coming here. Most of the orders were take out. We dined it and had to wait for a table. But they busers were quick to clean up table.s The food... More

Never dined in as the place is quite busy and noisy usually. Tookout their chicken biryani many times. It is very tasty.

Ordered butter chicken/chicken tikka masala and it was not good, tasted like BBQ sauce and was not hot, seemed like they just put it in a plate for us. The naan had a slightly burned taste on the sides. Can't speak about the rest of the menu because this is the only thing we ordered. The guy at the counter... More

I am really amazed that how come people eat uncooked food firstly and how come these restaurants serve u cooked food. Secondly no one is around to clean the tables. We had to clean the tables ourself, Really. A very bad experience will never be returning to this restaurant ever.

Got takeout with lots of choices Naan rice and several great spicy dishes .Saag lamb and chicken in toothsome sauces . Was plenty of food for the price and the food was ready when we were told it would be . Not very fancy but a delicious meal with a wide variety of tastes

Good food especially the chicken dishes that my son has been missing ever since he came from India. They need a little more organized way of serving.

We went here after glowing recommendations by a friend. And it was spot on. The taste, flavors, spices, all perfect. Loved the chicken biryani.

This place is a self service (get your own utensils, plates and water) Pakistani/Indian restaurant. The food is authentic because guests are usually slightly out numbered by indigenous Pakistanis and Indians. While doing some volunteer work driving a cancer patient to a doctor appointment, we didn't have a lot in common. Me, mid-west middle ages tall white male, her a... More

Pakwan is one of the top 3 restaurants in Fremont, CA, serving Indian Tandoori cuisine. Even though we have eaten here more than 2 dozen times over the past several years, not once have we been dis-satisfied. Most folks do a take out rather than sit and eat as the place is quite small and always packed during peak hours.... More
