I never review anything because most food joints are just mediocre, but Plaza Gourmet is a different breed. I love all their Phillies especially their mushroom philly which I’ve gotten literally 100 times. I always bring my friends from other cities here and they all agree it’s the best sandwich they’ve ever had.

This deli offers up some great sandwich options. One of their real "claims to fame" is their array of Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches, each one absolutely delicious and reasonably-priced - and each among the very best I've found outside of Philadelphia. Limited outside seating is available if you wish to have an open-air lunch.

Foster City does not have many places that serve sandwiches but It is good they have the Plaza. It's east coast style deli which is great because the specialty is the philly cheese steak. Always have daily specials. Service is fast and staff is friendly.

If you want a delicious sandwich, this is the place to go. Generous stuffing in the sandwich and a wide variety of breads to choose from. Great drink selection too. So good.
