I was so happy this place served food until 10pm because we were starving and had been driving for hours. The food was great and the beer was even better. Great laid-back local feel.

Ate there twice...first time the server was terrific (late lunch); second time (dinner on another night) the server was nice, but informed us immediately after serving us that she was taking a dinner break and provided us the name of who would be our replacement server (who never showed up until we caught someone else and asked for her as... We ordered a pizza and a salad. Both were tasty and we didn't want to take anything out so the portions were okay as well, although not very large. The place was very noisy due partly to several loud groups of various kinds, with the acoustics of the place not helping. My wife was cold because of the weather outside,... More
Husband and I had lunch here. I had a simple hamburger and it was delicious, done just right. Good salad. Husband had seafood stuffed mushrooms and he was very happy. Tasted a couple beers and chose an amber ale that he rated "very high quality", one of the best he's had. Good service, a very nice lunch!
Visited this place to check out another brewery on an ever growing list of places I've wanted to try in Northern CA and Southern OR. Missed out on this one last year. We ordered the taster flight to share. First off be aware it is 12 4 oz beers. Best to do this if you are not in a rush... More
We have been wandering around Northern California and southern Oregon for awhile and see "Tri-tip" so decided to give it a try. It was so-so. Eel River Brewing Co did everything else right tho'. Friendly wait staff, home town atmosphere and other food was above average. We would come back again.
We were on a trip that had us staying in Fortuna and we were looking for a solid meal close to our hotel. Eel River has real high points. The beer is very good! The nachos with chicken were tasty and well seasoned. Burgers were solid but it fell apart after that. While service was friendly - the recommended Tri-tip... More
Our service was great. I can't post a valid food review because we just had an appetizer plate. It was good though. I had their organic porter which was tasty. Very mild. Great with food. The amber is good as well. I'll be back to this place in the future.
When you walk in the restaurant is buzzing and you feel it's going to be good. They do have a beer taster which looks interesting with all the brewed beers presented on a platter. When it comes to the food it is predominately fried or fried. My wife and I both ordered the Mahi Mahi grilled with vegetables. Now I... More
Dinner was great. The 4 of us ordered a different meal and each was tasty. Our waitress was knowledgeable in suggesting options and the right beer. The only reason the rating wasn't a 5 is that there could have been more help on the floor for as full as the place was. We would definitely go back the next time... More
