The service is a little slow and you have to pay cash, but the pizza is fantastic. I travel to Europe for business and this pizza is as good as or better than what I have eaten in Italy. So drop in, relax, enjoy the...atmosphere and the pizza once it gets to you. Recommend the New York and/or the Nonnie.More
This is a great place for pizza and beer. They have a patio with good distancing. Staff friendly and helpful. The pizzas are crafted nicely and very tasty. Average crust, not thin, for those who care. We had two 12 inch pizzas for three people,...so lots of leftover slices. There is a really nice beer selection.More
Great little place to eat. Pizza was the best and service was great!! Nice little place and off the main road.
We didn't actually get to eat at Piaci because we stood in front of the bartender for over 12 minutes, and after he took the order of the people in front us, he refused to acknowledge us in any way. They were clearly busy, and...as someone who's worked in the restaurant business for a long time, I understand that, but it would have taken 2 seconds to say "hello" or let us know that he'd be with us eventually. Instead, he repeatedly walked around us, avoiding eye contact the whole time, to deliver drinks and food to people who were already seated.More
The pizza was so delicious and homemade with light crispy oven fired crust and the place has a fun atmosphere.
I took my wife and kids out to dinner at Piaci Sunday night. With COVID restrictions in place, two drunk guys came into the restaurant with no masks, got a beer, walked up to our table, and insisted that they were going to sit down...with us. I told them that we did not want them at our table due to COVID (and other obvious reasons). The two then sat outside and taunted me for 1/2 hour. When I went to the bathroom, one followed me, waited outside the door, and then got in my face and threatened me. I complained to the waitress who had witnessed this (she was rude to us throughout) then more forcefully to the manager. The other guy came again to our table and continued to escalate the situation. When my wife then told the manager that we were afraid for our safety, he had the audacity to kick us out of the restaurant without serving our food or bothering to hear our concerns. To make matters worse, he told us that we “should have expected this” at their establishment. This is our fourth vacation in Ft. Bragg, and we have always felt safe and welcome until this horrendous experience. Steve, the owner, evidently does not care to hire employees who follow COVID regulations, protect their patrons or encourage tourism in this beautiful town. If you want a pleasant, safe dinner with your family, pick any place but this.More
Could not even try the food. Staff was so rude and dismissive we left. Smelled good. Would have liked to try it. I guess business is so good you can turn people away??
While camping in Fort Bragg we decided to look for pizza. Piaci had great ratings so we went for it. $30 for a large pizza seemed steep but we figured it would be worth it. I would rate the pizza good for a $20 pizza....At $30 I expected better, but felt we got the $20 version. So.... ok, but not great pizza.More
Great staff serving delicious food and beer! Outdoor dining was spacious, but cold! Recommend dressing in layers for the cooler nights.
Rude, rude, rude!! This company should not be in business. Horrible service at the counter. On top of being rude he got our order wrong and then wanted to argue about it. DONT GO THERE!!
I love Piaci's pizza. It really is the best in the area, the service though is absolitely terrible. Whoever the girl was that was working the counter when my husband and I went, was unfamiliar with the beer selection, unpatient, rude and just a bad...customer service person. A place as good as Piaci's needs good staff. People who care about their job and their customers. Take your pizza TO GO and don't bother being waited on and leaving a tip, because the waitstaff obviously doesn't want to make money and doesn't want to be bothered!More
Set up terribly with covid no signs anywhere. The waitress behind the bar was so rude, it was our first time and we were trying to figure out the menu. She acted like it was a imposition to take our order and didn’t want to...help. There was people everywhere In there and the staff seemed in mass confusion. Won’t be back.More
Pizza is difficult to rate because people have different preferences. We like a thin crust wood fired pizza like east coast style and Piaci does give you a thin crust but it is crispy like a cracker so not our kind. We tried the focaccia...as well as a small with meat and cheese and the focaccia was truly a cracker crust, not like the focaccia we like that has a little bread-like texture. . So, it is all up to what you like. The flavor of the sauce was good as well as the meat and cheese and the customer service was excellent. Just know you will get a thin, crispy crust. I will give it a very good for the service and the flavor only. The small pizzas were $15 each. ALSO, important..they take cash or check only.More
During COVID19, we had to eat outside in the cold foggy weather. We ordered our pizza and waited for 35 minutes, no pizza. When we asked about it, we were told 15-20 minutes. We left, that was unacceptable!
