We went early for dinner on a Friday. Hardly any patrons. We were setting right away. The waiter came over and didn't take a drink order at all. He asked us to order. We said we weren't quite ready so he walked away. When he came back my friend asked about the cost to add clam chowder to an entree... More

Great local brewery with gift shop and good food, also a one of only a couple of "B"corporations in town, meaning There employees are treated well.

Beers were great and so was the wine list. Had a few tid bits of appetizers. Good enough. It's just not the same.

Friday night jazz very enjoyable, with the fresh delicately tart taste of their cloudy light beer, so much more flavor than in the bottle! Also enjoy the fish tacos on Tuesday nights.

After a long day of hiking off the Avenue of the Giants and negotiating the torturous switchbacks on Highway 1 west of Leggett in our motor home we needed a good beer. A bright spot in Fort Bragg called our names. Our destination was the North Coast Brewery found right on Highway 1. At about 5pm the bar was packed... More

The Tap Room Bar area was quite small. Between four of us we each ordered a different beer; all very good. We were hoping to stay and listen to the jazz music in the restaurant area, but there was a $20 cover charge. We'd read it wrong thinking it was free; it was the night before. We'll definitely return again.

The wait staff was very nice and conscientious, but the food was not very good. The fish was overcooked, as were the vegetables. The batter on the fish & chips was not crispy. The pizza was over-cheesed, over-crusted - just nothing special. The salad, though, was fresh and tasty, ingredients grown at a local farm. The beer offerings were of... More

The food was average to less for as much as they charge. I had the burger which comes only in a 1/2 pound portion with the basic fixings and fries ($16). The burger took forever to arrive after 25 minutes (we were the first order taken for lunch) and was dry, fairly flavorless, and far from hot. When I asked... More

We had been driving since early morning. Got into Ft Bragg a little after 8 PM. Looking forward to some good wine, brew and food. The sandwich we split was ok, beer was good, but no wine selection to speak of. One white (a chardonnay--not my fav) and 2 reds. The oysters were a complete shock. 6 oysters on the... More

Nice little brew pub with a dining room. We didn't have dinner here this time, but we did have the coconut prawns and a Pranqster beer. The best Belgian Ale we've ever tasted. The coconut prawns were great also, not breaded like so many out of the freezer ones are. These were fresh made, large size prawns.
