Had reservations...we were on time...restaurant was virtually empty still waited 10 minutes to be seated....we knew then it maybe a bad night. Party of 5. The chicken piccata was very good...the other entrees were disappointing...the pork tenderloin was overlooked and dry....the Brussels sprouts were mush and inedible....the ravioli and penne primavera was very bland....the cantaloni was okay....asked for parm cheese... We went for dinner the first day after they reopened after renovations. It was very difficult to decide what to have from the large menu, where everything looked good. We had the parsnip soup, which was utterly amazing. We were tempted to order a gallon to go. The artichoke bruschetta and dayboat scallops were perfectly cooked. The mushroom-stuffed pork chops... I ordered the berry crepe. It was good and professionally prepared. Personally, for me there was too much creme and butter in the crepe, but I guess this depends on the person. The interior is nice and the Service good. But it is very expensive. I recommend the crepe but only if you are okay with a lot of butter... More

We stopped in for breakfast. The menu looked intriguing. The place was not busy at 9AM on Saturday morning. We stood in the doorway for several minutes before anyone that resembled a staff member acknowledged us and offered a table. We then waited another 10 or 15 minutes for the gentleman to take our order. The food was mediocre at... More

They served the best burger in town - organic and local w/ salad or fires. Delightful pianist for the dinner hour on Saturday night.

We stopped here for lunch and were not pleased. My husband had broccoli soup and a Caesar salad, which he said were mediocre. I ordered a hamburger medium rare, and it came so well done, hard as a rock, with no taste whatsoever. I could not eat it. I requested mayo and mustard, which the waitress forgot to bring until... Both a bar side and a dining side, we were on the dining side. Happened to have live music which was enjoyable, not too loud and not too rough. Good service and better-than-average Italian. Friendly staff helped us with specials and were appreciated.

Really enjoyed the food here - I had the halibut which was delicious. Also a gluten free chocolate dessert which was a rare treat. Walking distance from our B&B made a nice change from driving.

Our number one dining experience at Ft. Bragg. Clean, cozy, comfortable place with fine atmosphere. Cuisine choices are broad and excellent: Wild Salmon, Alaskan Halibut, Seafood Risotto from the ocean. Pastas. An excellent veal Scaloppini. Satisfactory wine list. Nice desert options, including an outstanding Tiramisu. Fine coffee. Swell guitar trio on the Friday night we dined.

Had the smoked salmon sandwich. Wasn't the chunk kind of salmon, but thin type used for lox and bagels. Very good, fresh ingredients. The onion rings were the best I've had in years. Server very friendly. Nice atmosphere off the main drag.
