My wife and I decided to try this place on a recent Friday afternoon visit to historic downtown Folsom. Our bacon burgers were excellent; cooked just as ordered (medium) with thick-cut strips of bacon. I don't generally get excited about fried potatoes (French fried or otherwise) but the tater tots were perfect. And then there's the beer. I sampled several,... More

Sam's hamburgers are simply outstanding. They use excellent beef and great fresh buns. Three of us had Sam's Classic done medium rare to perfection with cheddar cheese crispy lettuce, onion and tomato.Tasty, juicy, wonderful is how to describe them. they came with fries or fried Tater Tots which were crispy and a nice change from the fries. Sam 's has... More

We stopped in for lunch on the advice of people we met at a brewery. They had mentioned how good the food was so we thought we would give it a try. We sampled a number of beers and found some good ones but the food was just not that great. I ordered the Johnny Cash which looked awesome but... More

We live in the area and visit Sutter Street from time to time. Samuel Horne's is a great beer stop with many local brews and serves good food. Their french dip is the best!

Not at all what I expected when I first walked in but the beer was cold and refreshing after a day of shopping. And the little sliders are good and flavorful. Will definitely make this a stop when I visit Folsom again.

A funky bar in Historic Folsom, this friendly spot has amazing burgers!! I enjoyed the sliders - tasty buns and very flavorful meat - juicy but not greasy! The salad was very tasty with crispy lettuce, tasty tomatoes and corn adding to the flavour. My husband described his burger as one of the best he has ever had!

Located in Historic Old Folsom on Sutter St. We stopped by for a few beers. Great selection of craft beers on tap. Nice rating system. Small and cozy. Only 3 seats at the bar. Friendly staff and fresh beers. A very casual atmosphere and an "Old West" feel.

Great Mac and Cheese, awesome burgers. Wonderful beer selection. Small and crowded but good vibe. The tater tots were disappointing. Would go back for sure.

Really nice old, vintage building and decor. Service was great, craft beer tap selections were absolutely one of the best.

The Steak and Peppers SAMwiches was very tender and a pleasing delight on the palette. The slightly spicy sauce along with very, very tender steak was a marvelous meal. We shared the Bacon & Blue Cheese fries, thankfully. They were very rich and full of flavor. This a must return restaurant. Don't miss this one.
