Absolutely fabulous eatery in Folsom Food was perfectly cooked to order and one of the best steaks in the area. Decor is awesome.Very old San Francisco decor Pricing is fairly high for the area but well worth it. Service is outstanding and not rushed at all

We had a fantastic dinner here this week. The restaurant is in the Folsom historic district which is charming on its own. The restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere with high ceilings and lots of wood decor. It has a comfortable elegance about it. It feels like a special place without being stuffy. The service was prompt and friendly. The... More

We wanted a great steakhouse and had heard some good things about this one. We were not disappointed! Very nice setting and we enjoyed the deck at sunset overlooking old Folsom and the American River. Service was excellent...Thank you, Alyssa! This is the best steak house in Folsom and the general area, you could argue that RC is just as good, but what you have here is a local establishment in a historic site that provides a top quality meal with great service and ambiance, Sutter Street Steakhouse has it all. The wine list is pretty good too. If you... More

Always a good experience at his place. The waiters seem to enjoy serving you and the steaks are always great. Also, good martinis and oysters in the half shell. It is in a very cool old brick building by the river.

We were given a gift card and it was such a pleasure to have eaten there. We had an elegant dinner on a rainy night, with a beautiful view from our table near the wine room. The food was excellent. A great night.

Excellent food, service, and ambiance. A bit pricy but you really get what you pay for. I definitely prefer this steakhouse over the more expensive yet inferior Morton's or Ruth's Chris.

I have excellent food and service every time I have been to Sutter Street Steakhouse. You start off with the spinach salad or wedge or caesar (all are fabulous) then go on to your entree, steaks are amazing. I love the petite filet with blue cheese crumbles. My husband's favorite is the mole encrusted ribeye.

The lobster tail was great. Prices are high but to be expected for the quality and service. Nice location.

Thank Matt B
