Great restaurant. Great food and servise

Great restaurant. All the dishes were excellent. Great servise. We got the dishes very fast, everything was so fresh and tasty. Every wensday they have wine deal that you pay 65 nis and get to drink as much as you want. Well recomended.

We didn't fall of the chair

4 people, we ate different dishes. i ate Black Angus Gnocchi which was good. my wife ate Caprese Hamburger which was juicy, but tasteless (like bought from a supermarket brand) and the rest were not enthusiastic about theirs as well. Some of the combinations seems as someone thought hard on complicating traditional Italian dishes. some of it may work. some less. Service was OK, and atmosphere was very loud. too many kids in a small room....

Such a nice place.

My wife and I visit Cheece every time we are in Northern Israel, in late April 2022. We were greeted as usual by a friendly waiter who immediately directed us to a suitable table and brought us the menu in English. The menu was good and varied and after we had our meal of choice, we went up to the sommelier who showed us and recommended a few local wines which we subsequently tasted and chose one of. During the wait, the restaurant offered starters on the house, and the food was served after a reasonable wait. The quality was top notch, the room was nicely decorated and the service was friendly and pleasant. It is not a cheap place, but the price is definitely in proportion to what you get. I can only give Cheese my very best recommendation and we will definitely come again and again.

Arrived today at 12:10 p.m. for lunch without a reservation and the restaurant was completely empty. The hostess ignored us for a good 10 minutes before telling us that they were fully booked inside and only a table outside could be provided. I asked her to double check as the inside was completely empty and our 3 kids were very hot but she rudely dismissed the request. As we hadn’t booked we thought fair enough and sat outside but asked that they bring one of the big oscillating fans dotted outside to our table. We were told yes of course but by the time we had finished and paid the bill still no fine. Of what we tried to order they didn’t have 2 of the dishes which again seemed strange as we were the first ones in. What we did eat was distinctly average and the children’s portions were tiny. We left at 13:30 and still the inside was almost completely empty so why the hell did they make us sit outside in the sweltering heat? I don’t think i have ever written a negative review on trip advisor but there is a first time for everything and this place is definitely a waste of money in my opinion.

Fantastic meal!

When I called they told me that they were booked up, but we showed up anyway figuring that no Israeli would eat dinner at 6 PM. Wrong--and the hostess again said that they were booked up, but within a minute produced a table for two. The meal was good enough to be memorable, most of the staff spoke some English (and a couple were fluent), and the wine, while not local, was well curated and reasonably priced by the glass. We would have preferred some of the excellent local wine but they had Italian and Portuguese selections that complemented the food quite well. I'd especially recommend the beef; Galil beef seems to be uniquely flavorful and also very tender, and it was cooked to medium rare perfection and delivered sizzling hot with a sort of corn pudding side that was really good but not overly rich. We will return.

Surprising excellent quality

The food was excellent. All dishes we ordered were very good. We will be back. There was a problem with the pizza we ordered and they handled it very well, very good restaurant and surprising quality. Unique and noteworthy approach to wines- practically a wine shop attitude and prices: we got two bottles (red and white) in a price that is usually spent on two glasses. Great experience!!

Good meal in spite of a very bad beginning

Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. The food was very good, we sat very comfortably in shade underneath the wide open tent, and the service was very good. The explanation of the very bad beginning: when we sat down, we did not receive menus. We were told to use our phones to look at the menu online. Huh??? They did not have tablets, they did not have simple menus that were printed on an inhouse printer, nothing. We refused to use our phones and in the end the waitress told us what was available. This is not the way any restaurant should serve its customers.

It was very spontaneous, we heard nothing about the place, and we were very surprised. The food was super fresh, creative flavors, and was served quickly. The staff were very kind, and the prices are fair. All is basic, not over complex. And the location and facilities very nice.

We came north for our Silver Wedding anniversary. I booked a table for two for 19.00 on the phone. I received no confirmation of the booking. When we arrived at 18 .45 we were told that the booking had been cancelled. No real attempt was made to sort a alternative table for us, and the attitude was very poor. Lucky for us we had noticed a Restaurant called Tokyo Bankok near Cheese, we had a wonderful meal there with Shai the owner. So make sure your booking is confirmed, before eating at this restaurant.

Had a wonderful lunch. They were friendly and helpful. They have a covered sitting area, so you can have takeaway and then sit down. The was great. Our celiac daughter had a choice of pasta or pizza, so there are indeed gluten free options

Best place to eat in the North

Every time we come to visit the north of Israel we love coming to eat at Cheese. Excellent high quality food (pizza, fish, wine...pzazot), great service and cozy atmosphere. And during corona you can order food and eat in heated tents outside! Recommended big time!

Excellent food

We had dinner here and loved it! The ravioli was done al dante and tasted fantastic, shrimps were delicious, and the cheese cake was good. Service is friendly and prices are moderate. Will gladly return here.

Very nice and friendly restaurant. Delicious meal, great service and affirdable price. Kids friendly. Everything we've got was fresh and nice and with some spevial twist. Loved it. We will be back
