My initial reaction was positive. Outdoor sitting area was very appealing. It was noisy inside, so we requested outdoor sitting. We also thought we’d be seated quickly, as many tables appeared to be available. This was a faulty assumption. After a long wait they sat us inside and told us it was the first available table (while many others remained... More

Eat outside on the flower filled patio under a giant oak, surrounded by towering Redwoods. Take your dog! Have a "Broken Fence" (shaved steak, grilled onions, melted cheese sandwich),a dark draft beer and you will be in heaven! I didn't score 5 stars 'cuse service is slow. Truthfully, I didn't care... the scene was so beautiful and relaxing.

Always fresh, busy and guaranteed a good meal. Family owned and new location. One of my favorites in the Santa Cruz area.

Have always looked forward to a meal at this restaurant. Recently they moved to a new, larger, location. We went for dinner last night. First the place was packed and indoors the noise level was high. We waited for 15 minutes for a waiter to appear. I ordered a cocktail and was informed that the license from the prior location... New location for an old favorite ... the setting is fantastic! It's a short distance down Hwy 9 from town in a garden setting. We ate outdoors on a warm evening .... it could not have been nicer. The food hasn't changed .. it's still super delicious at incredible prices.

I've visited the Cowboy Bar and Grill for years so I was curious to try the new location (in the site of the old Oak Tree Ristorante.) The outdoor terrace in front of the restaurant is an absolutely splendid setting for an afternoon lunch. You can sit under the shade of the giant oak tree or take a table on... More

Located near Henry Cowell Redwood Park and south of Felton on beautiful Highway 9, you will find as pretty an outdoor patio as anywhere you might eat. Nice lunch menu with beer offerings. Friendly staff and developing indoor decor (as restaurant relocated in late spring). Go, hang out, have a nice meal...nothing better on a beautiful day.

Ribs are pretty good here. Great atmosphere and friendly customer service. Love the outside sitting. Great hamburgers also.

No flavor in the soup or salad. The honey butter has no honey in it. The meatloaf looks good, perhaps that is better to order. I would pass, lots of options.

Tri-tip was very good as were the beans and coleslaw. The barbecue sauce was also delicious. Patio was very large and nicely laid out with trees, plants and flowers. Dogs allowed on patio. The only issue was the amount of flies.
