We were lucky to find this place on a long drive from Mammoth Lakes to San Francisco, it's a lively bar/restaurant who served a good steak a chips (chips that a biker kept trying to steal) sitting there felt like being in a PG 13 version of sons of anarchy as 3 rival bike gangs exchanged pleasantries in front of... Have never been here before, but it looked like a great country bar that served lunch, so gave it a try. It looked just like we expected inside.... an old honky tonk whose patrons were those who wore cowboy hats as well as those who were driving Harley's. There is inside seating with waitress service, and outside seating ( you... More

Right on the road we've passed by many times but so glad we stopped in this time. Great roadside stop for a beer, burger, fish n chips or delicious BLT!! Friendly staff, friendly locals - looks like a locals hangout as well as those stopping by one the road. Good for families too if you don't mind a bit of... More

We now arrange any trip involving both the Bay area and the Sierras to include a visit to this archetypal roadhouse just East of Stockton. Our first time in Lagorio's (years ago) was a weekday lunchtime as we drove across the state towards the Sierras, skipping Stockton and seeking a local option for lunch. Entering Lagorio's was like going back... More

Small, dark, country bar atmosphere. (My favorite). A full bar and draught beers, too. I've only had the burgers, here, but they are famous for oysters. Yes, oysters. I love their grille styled burgers. so never get to try the other things.

Stopped for a gas-up and asked for a restaurant - this was the recommendation - and it was GOOD! Friendly staff, busy with locals and their kiddos, and enough interesting stuff hanging on the walls to keep your eyes busy for days! AND very clean bathrooms! This is a "country bar and grill" atmosphere that is an experience you do... More

Great service, the oysters are some of the best I have ever had, very fresh and barbecued to perfection.

We travel about monthly eating at restaurants in Alphabetical Order. I've passed Lagorio's many times but have Never, EVER stopped there. Looking like an old beat up biker bar, we weren't wrong it is a bar and there are bikes outside but it was FUN and FRIENDLY. The food delicious and freshly made. The chili had a good sting but...
