Meh. Disappointing.

Meh. Burger was just OK - bun fell apart as we ate it - meat was dry and overcooked - recommend asking them to cut it in half, since there are no utensils available to do this yourself. Fries were good, and small fries was plenty for 2. Outdoor table was sticky, not clean. Lots of flies made the patio dining a little annoying. Not worth the price or the hype.

I almost missed it as they moved due to a new park-n-ride in the old location. The burgers have a large slab of beef and common toppings. Lettuce, onion , thousand island, nothing special was on the burgers, but they are decent. The French fries were very good, the thick caterpillar kind, a huge bag of them. Nachos were round chips with the gooey cheese sauce, nothing else. This place is a nice change from your nation wide chain, but nothing special.

Ordered 4 egg breakfast sandwiches and they did not list mayo on the menu. 2 people in my family do not like mayo so 2 sandwiches were discarded. Please not all add ons to food please! Sandwiches were good for those of us that like mayo.

Disappointing but giant size burger

Always long lines when we drive by so this time the wait was reasonable so we stopped in. It was underwhelming! Yes big burger but way over cooked, under seasoned and greasy. Lettuce and tomatoes very fresh. I’d give up size if the burger for more flavor - salt/pepper even! Very disappointing

Really good sandwiches

The sandwiches are excellent. Lots of meat and very fresh ingredients. We had the bacon and ham breakfast sandwiches. They were quickly prepared.

Great burgers and fries! Burgers are 1/2 lb and big enough to spit unless really hungry! Also a large fries was plenty for the three of us!

Decent Old School Burger

Had the basic burger, minus cheese and protein style (lettuce instead of bun). Large homemade burger patty, slightly crumbly. Lettuce / tomato were decent, not as fresh as In N Out. I have grilled onions which impart a little more flavor. They seem to have toned down the seasoning over the past couple of years, seemed blander than I remember. There are several outdoor tables. Not fancy, but nice atmosphere for a small roadside place. Everything is cooked to order, so be prepared to wait a few minutes.

Boring burgers

Really!!! Good cheeseburger

I ordered a double cheeseburger, waaay more than I could eat and it was delicious. Just the kind of fries I like. They were really busy but it didn't take very long at all to get our food. I was surprised.

Great Burgers

This place is an iconic outdoor burger joint in Fallbrook. It is always packed, which is a testament to its popularity. They work hard to get you your food as quickly as possible and there are always interesting guests to visit with while you wait. The burgers are always delicious and made to order. They are huge so we always share one.

Best Hamburger

Can't beat Nessy's. Best Hamburger in Fallbtook! Fries are Great as well! Our son likes the chicken sandwich. Grandson the nachos and cheese. Sister from Cjicago wanted In & Out. Took her to Nessy's and she said forget In & Out. Something to please everyone!! Love to eat and enjoy the picnic tables in the summer.

Best Burgers and Fries on the West Coast

This little little burger stand is a favorite of everyone in our family. We were first introduced to Nessy Burgers years ago, it was a trailer off the freeway next to a gas station. They were forced to move due to road construction, and recently completed a brick and mortar building, but still have only outdoor seating and walk-up ordering. Burgers and fries are a little pricy, but we finally got smart and started sharing - and one burger, one order of fries and 2 drinks makes it a perfect lunch for two! Service is great! Sometimes we have to wait a bit because it’s busy - or because they cook to order - but believe me...it’s worth the wait!
