Had take out but took me back to my Peace Corps days in the Caribbean. Delicious food with those rich island flavors. The grilled fish is amazing as well as the curried veggies, grilled shrimp, etc. My son's "go to" place when he's in town...as well as my resident daughters. I'll be back!More

We enjoyed out meal. We are not that familiar with Jamaican food preparation but found everything to be very enjoyable. But the presentation really needs a lot of work. Very interesting spicing; it's fun to have a unique taste experience. We were just traveling through...but if we lived here we would return. The owner is very accommodating.More

Drove from Arcata because Caribbean restaurants are hard to find in Upstate NY. Lovely family owned restaurant that is warm and welcoming. 8 local craft beers and hyper local wines from Old Growth Cellars. The Cod Fritters, jerk chicken wings, chicken Roti and Jamaican beef...Patty were all outstanding! Sorry there are no photos, dove into the food as it came out😊. Next visit to NoCal will include this restaurant.More

The place was recommended by our local hotel staff. This is Carabean style food and it is reall tasty. There is a parking lot opposite the front of the place. There is an open kitchen so you can see the chefs as they prepare the...various selections. They also stock Red Stripe Beer, a Carabean favorite. We started with the jerk chicken wings as an appitizer - delicious. The main courses were shrimp, and a blackened salmon dish that was really delightful. We truly enjoyed our meals and fully recommend this place.More

We stopped here as we spent the night in town on our road trip. Food was good and our server Johnnie was great! Although Caribbean food is better on the East Coast this place fit the bill. Recommend this spot if anyone is in the...area.More

We stopped here for dinner on a Friday night, not too buy got a seat right away. First impressions was how clean it is, alot of time these small out of the way restaurants can be a bit dark and dirty but this was lovely...and bright and clean. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress who was quick to serve us and very helpful explaining the menu items. Prices are very reasonable, food was fantastically flavorful but not spicy hot. We had jerk wings, smashed fish and jerk ribs. All were very original and very good. A nice change from the burger, Mexican, Chinese restaurants that litter the country, and don't worry it's not spicy hot.More

Interesting food. We tried the fish tacos (I recommend them, really good) and the appetizer platter (good but not fantastic), with the fresh ginger tea (also very good). Not expensive and funny.

We decided to skip the usual boring brewery food & come here for something exciting & different. We ordered the lemonade because it was mentioned in so many other reviews. So delicious & like nothing we'd ever tasted! The macaroni pie was really good, fried...plantains were excellent, dipping sauces great, jerk wings were great. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to the coast!More

I agree about it being an unassuming place, but the food was really good! The service was excellent, too. I had a shrimp and rice bowl, and while it was a bit sweet, the right amount of spice and hotness were there, too. My daughter...had the jerk chicken and thought it was excellent, too. I'd definitely recommend it to others. Try it!More
